Are you serious? GT5 update?!?!? New cars and tracks?!
I want more Japanese circuits and Touge Battles! haha
More Spoon and Mugen stuff along with one-make races. Those were fun :p

JD35 06-04-2011 10:24 PM

apparently they're bringing back the old school tracks from gt3-gt4? Seattle being one of them :)

TOS'd 06-04-2011 11:57 PM

was just going to post...i can finally do that 3 hour Formula GT Championship..gotta find a good tune for the FGT.

let's hope they'll implement race-saves for endurance runs by the next update

european 06-07-2011 09:33 PM

Still can't change wheels or add some OEM or Mugen lip kits to my Honda's :(
But thanks for the update GT5! I no longer have to do my long endurance races all day. :p
Too bad this update didn't come out sooner cause I already finished a few of them heh.

The new helmet cinematic is pretty neat :p I still want my wheels and lip kits on standard cars :p

From my understanding you still cant pause endurance races for example 4 hour roadster race, indy 500, 24 hours of le mans etc.
-you can only pause the championship races(those where you have to constantly do 5 race in a row with the same car) for example gran turismo champioship

has clutch + h shifter bug been fixed? I hated trying to switch gears and being put into neutral for no reason.

hk20000 06-08-2011 06:45 PM

^ They are trying to mimick a misshift when you don't clutch in properly.... try to play your GT5 wearing shoes it all starts to make sense.

k3mps 06-08-2011 07:02 PM

is it just me or do the cars slide a shit load more than before the update

european 06-08-2011 07:23 PM

^
I wish I could slide my car. Its either I have a ton of grip when racing or no grip at all and spin out a trillion times when trying to do a drift race thing.

As lame as this may sound, I want a tutorial on how to drift within GT5 on the next update heh.

im racing the same car with the same settings on the same track as before the update,
and my car is sliding twice as much.
i cant get around a corner at 20mph on quarter throttle without sliding

european 06-08-2011 07:29 PM

Do you have all of those assists off? Traction control, etc, etc? If so turn them on and then you'll have more grip. Unless you like driving with them all off then you'll slide around. I'm a lame loser so I drive with them on :)

k3mps 06-08-2011 07:34 PM

assists off.
but i have everything set the same way, and im doing time trials on the same track, the same way.
weird...

twitchyzero 06-08-2011 07:44 PM

are you racing on normal tires?

european 06-08-2011 08:46 PM

^
Ya. Tires help a lot. Soft racing tires are the best and have most grip.

TOS'd 06-08-2011 08:49 PM

I usually drive with Comfort:Hard :fullofwin:

same everything as pre-update.
racing medium

twitchyzero 06-08-2011 11:33 PM

often time people perceive that the physics were somehow altered...but i doubt without a major update they'll touch that (ie GT5 Spec II)

i think it's just a matter of not playing the game for a while and suddenly jumping back after a new updates makes it seem difficult..i duno

Nsane 06-09-2011 03:11 AM

I played it today for a while with the new update and new seasonal event. The physics feel the same to me.

k3mps 06-09-2011 01:48 PM

I guess it's just me then..

I drive the same car, same tires, assists off, and feels different. Just slightly.
