decent sized patch just came out
i will test on the weekend to see if the g25/27 2nd gear is still bugged

Quote:

- Corrected an issue where if a certain operation was performed when using a steering wheel controller with an H pattern gear shifter, the shift lever position, gear position display and the car operation would become mismatched. (On the Logitec G25 Racing Wheel, Logitech G27 Racing Wheel, and Guillemot T500RS + TH8RS Shifter.)

if anyone is interested at picking up GT5 you can get it for 17.99@ futureshop or bb. it's 39.99 but you should be able to get them to price beat superstore @ 19.99 i just picked one up at superstore maybe i should pick up another @ futureshop and bestbuy since they qualify for the trade 2 get $50 at ebgames

The Subaru BRZ looks better. I'm hoping this car will finally push Nissan to release a successor to the 240SX.

As much as I love the s-chassis, I doubt it will happen. If they do, it would compete with their Z and V cars, which are still pretty new. :okay:

twitchyzero 12-03-2011 12:16 AM

i am more interested in a barrier-less Rome track :D

G-spec 12-03-2011 12:19 AM

^ awww hell nah, lol, I love Rome, thats the one course where I always seem to have an advantage over almost anyone I play online, its the only course where i consistently hit every apex and turn just right

The 370Z starts @ $41,000 CAD ... The new ones from Toyota/Subaru are expected to come in at around $26,000 USD (Approx. $28,000 CAD). Huge difference ... Right now, the Altima Coupe is Nissan's competition at that price point :heckno:

I need to get myself a sporty RWD car again soon because driving a Civic fucking sucks. Would prefer Nissan, but if all I can get is a used 350Z, I would consider another brand.

Need to start playing GT5 again, but GF re-arranged the living room and now I can't hook my wheel and pedals up :P

european 12-11-2011 10:06 AM

You know, sometimes I wish GT5 had an open road course. Like those old NFS Underground games where you can just drive around the city. I want something like that but on a larger scale. There should be an Autobahn course where you can just drive around the German highways and maybe a bit through the country side.

I dunno if this is a good idea or not but its just a thought. hah.

twitchyzero 12-11-2011 10:21 AM

hard to say..we might see it in one of the next few GT iterations....since they already have things like photo shoot backdrops.

But then again, i also dont seem them dedcitating lots of time on doing anything that's not race oriented...so it might being end up half-assed and then make up some excuse on how they were rushed and couldn't finish all the premium models lol

Ya GT5 update!! Got some new wheels for some old STANDARD cars! :D
Now just release some OEM and Mugen lip kits and a full detailed interior view for standard cars :p

I still want a Mugen and Spoon Sports store like in the older Gran Turismo games.

GT5 19.98 at Walmart on Boxing day!!!!

european 12-20-2011 01:18 PM

I just played a little bit and the sound does not sound that great. In fact, it kind of sounds worse?

Tried a few cars.
98 Prelude SiR S-Spec. The sound was cracking at high RPM around 7-8000 RPM.
02 NSX-R. The sound seemed similar although I can't really notice a difference.
07 Miata. It actually sounds pretty neat! However, this is my first time driving it :p

All in all, there's not much to be excited about...

More updates to come I bet.

twitchyzero 12-20-2011 03:53 PM

normally I can only hear the BOV from the hood cam

shenmecar 01-05-2012 11:31 AM
