Interesting to note here. Letterman did that first, Conan followed shortly after, Leno only did it because he was starting to receive crap from everyone about it.

Welcome to the real world and vancouver lol.. if the demand is there, why not try to make a little cash if you can afford to pay up front.. .but I do agree that 500% is crazy bt I have yet to see one like that so u must be overexaggerating.

I wish I would be in town but its ok, not the end of the world. best bet is to try and buy a day or 2 before the show...IMO.

I know what you mean. but it seems like nowadays it has gone way too overboard with everyone trying to get a piece of the pie. look at the simple things like Olympic clothing and whatnot. the real fans who want to enjoy a show (or whatever) can't do so anymore without paying an arm/leg.

Yeah, it totally sucks. I don't give these jerks the satisfaction. I've flown as far as NYC and Boston for concerts because it was cheaper than buying a ticket in Vancouver.

Yeah, some scalpers are making a $300 dollar profit on a $100 ticket -- they're making more on a ticket than the actual performers (in this case, Conan & crew). I buy tickets to support my favourite acts, but I will never buy from these scalper scums.

Meowjin 03-14-2010 04:39 PM

I'm biting my fist and waiting 2 weeks before the show before I buy anything.

I would expect Letterman to lead the way in this department, as much as a sleezeball he is with the women that works under him, he treats everyone fairly and with great respect when it comes down to work and employment.

Conan followed suit, even though he didn't have to, but as we all know, Conan is probably the most down to earth guy on Late Night and we all saw that with his speech from his last show on the Tonight Show

Wongtouski 04-12-2010 10:04 AM

Conan to be on TBS in November.

I don't watch TV much, but I do recall watching TBS/TNT.

dub.g 04-12-2010 10:48 AM

We used to have TBS here until it turned into Peachtree tv or something on channel 47

i was kinda glad that he ended up on TBS and not Fox, because that network is known to cancel shows way too early on their peak

at least TBS will give Conan a chance for a probable long term deal and he not in direct competition with Leno and Letterman

!LittleDragon 04-12-2010 11:10 AM

dammit... I don't wanna have to go download episodes everyday :(

stuff99 04-12-2010 02:51 PM

Let's hope someone pick its up like CTV did with Daily Show and Colbert Report.

Gh0stRider 04-13-2010 11:23 AM

I was going to, but I might have to end up giving my tickets away  1st day of filming on Hellcats today and its looking like we running late

DsZ24 04-13-2010 01:52 PM

I'm going to tomorrow's show

Meowjin 04-13-2010 02:52 PM

anyone selling tickets for tomorrow's show? Will play a reasonable premium for a pair.

Tim Budong 04-13-2010 03:54 PM

hmm
did some digging..
peachtree TV is just a local subsidy of TBS in the states. There is National TBS and local TBS and thus some local TBS will air the national stuff as well. I believe peachtree does carry the george lopez so we could be in luck!
meaning we can still watch conan
