Think the rates are the same but I noticed when I used my pay by phone app. It cost me a extra .25 or something... (rather then going to the machine and punching it in there)

I could be tripping.. pretty sure my receipt cost was different though

Yeah, rates are the same. Ironically until 4:30 is more expensive than the full day, that and they said they were adhering to pay by phone configuration, but like you said, it's more expensive.

Gerbs 01-09-2017 06:35 PM

BIC_BAWS 01-10-2017 10:50 PM

I kind of want to look for a junior position after the finance diploma and do part time BBA. But at the same time I heard full time BBA is only 2-3 semesters? I don't think the GPA to get into full time is high either.

Probably going to try to form one when I do BBA. I tried to start a dodgeball / hockey one first year as well. Everyone bailed cause no body wanted to stay at school after already being there for like 6 - 7 hours.

maneetkaran 01-12-2017 05:55 PM

GPA for full time is a lot higher than part time, b/c full time bba requirements are competitive. According to my prof (bba program head), they're up-ing the requirements this year. I know it still says min 70% across x y z courses but they take the highest.

Edit: I should have multi-quoted my bad

Wait its based on the xyz courses? Rather than total GPA in your diploma? :awwyeah::awwyeah: cause my GPA dropped like 3% from financial accounting and tax.

What is SBL?
What

Yeah based on the xyz courses that they list. They take different financial management courses tho, since you're in fmgt I'm not sure which ones. Then they consider your overall gpa.

Sbl - sustainable business leadership

I meant i should have multi quoted my responses to you.

Verdasco 01-19-2017 07:28 AM

how does waitlist usually work for programs? On waitlist atm since September? and i called a couple times and they never give you the ETA or waitlist position.... wanted to go vacation but unsure when. Do they email you when you get in?

Gerbs 01-19-2017 12:43 PM

You get an email. You should be fine to leave for a vacation.

Applied for a course credit/exemption for one of my courses at Langara on the 6th. Gave them my transcript, course outline etc so they have all the docs. Called them on tues to ask whats up and they said still processing...Will be 2 weeks tmw since I applied.

What can possibly take this long? I understand the course im trying to transfer isnt one of the approved ones, but how long does it take to read a course outline jeez.

A girl in my class had the same problem with langara, she finally got approved today.

On a side note, are a majority of you guys working as well as school?

I'm working at a small accounting/bookkeeping firm right now, ironically, but I don't ask for many hours. It's do-able, especially cause we got parking bills to pay.
