Lucky me I work out at 6 tomorrow morning so I get first crack at the A lot after the welders.

what's going on with that parking lot anyway? are they re-paving it or has it been like that the whole time

Damn, there's a waitlist?

yes, every applicant is being put on the wait list until they determine the exact start date for the program and send out acceptance letters. Sometime in February I guess.

My classmates who park there said they paved like half the lot since the class started in November. There's ongoing construction nearby,so I wouldn't be surprised that they'll finish it in the next few months or so.

Not CST, but I'm in the Computer Information Technology Program

nabs 01-06-2011 04:27 PM

give the parking a few weeks to simmer down... lol.

Thinking of a diploma in Business Information Technology Management
Anyone have any opinions or experience with this type of diploma? Is it good for the job market? I would likely take the bachelor of business administration afterwards.

I figure it would be more of a skill set compared to just taking the business management dipoma and then the bba.

Hondaracer 01-07-2011 06:44 AM

Let me reiterate a point I made earlier, when you put a quarter into the parking machine and it rejects it the first three times, odds are the next three times aren't going to work either and it's time to use your visa.

Anyone know of a place where I can ask people about the degree I plan to take? Asking the adviser doesnt seem to help.

I am thinking of going to BCIT. I will be going into IT. what courses should I take to make sure thats exactly what I want to do.

ForbiddenX 01-10-2011 08:33 AM

^I think the program is ACIT http://www.bcit.ca/study/programs/5520diplt/. I'm not 100% sure if this is the exact program. There's another one my classmates were talking about switching over to which is just IT Technical support stuff but I forgot what it was. I'm currently in CST and it's more programming than IT.

Yep its CIT. I'm actually in a lecture right now and I'm in level 2 CIT. It's just as it says, it's IT oriented and a lot of work, so make sure you're ready to dedicate most (all) of your time in school.

Gh0stRider 01-10-2011 07:41 PM

CIST intake only in september :( might have to wait till next year, if i can't get in for this september.

So the drive TO school doesn't matter either? If Canada Way isn't cleared tomorrow, I'm expecting a gong show.

JSALES 01-11-2011 09:10 PM
