^ I heard they have parking violation records at icbc now.
A friend's friend of mine had to pay for all the parking violations before he could switch his plate.....

wow you couldn't be more lucky. I got ticketed on monday the week after spring break right at 5pm when my class ended at 5:15 =_= My friend got ticketed twice in the last week lolol. I think the warm weather is encouraging them to patrol the lot even further.

are you serious? did your friend get ticketed by IMPARK?

I did not receive a ticket on my window at all, but i did find a nice notice in the mail stating that i owed IMPARK $60 or something due to a ticket that i never received.

I park at school like once a week sometimes, and when i do, i pay.

The apparent violation was from febuary 1st, and i got the notice in the mail last week. Lucky for me, i keep all my old tickets in the ashtay in my car. I was able to find the one from febuary 1st.

Let me just say that if you dont have your ticket, you're screwed. This is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened when i got a ticket for paying for parking? although this time was weird for actually not having a ticket on my window but receiving a notice later. I got the ticket cancelled, but i had my way with them. I blasted the woman on the phone till she had nothing to respond back.

This is complete BS. So please, BCIT'ers. Save all your parking tickets, and watch out for incidents like this.

i was parked in a disignated actual parking spot with a stall number. The woman i was speaking to at impark was saying that i was parked at another stall and that my ticket wasnt clear.

Like i said, this is my third time getting a ticket even though i paid for a ticket.. I'm good with these things. I mean i had a months worth of parking tickets in my ashtray. I had my ticket displayed on my dash when i got back from lunch and parked in another stall.

Probably the impark lot guy was lazy as fuck to walk in between cars and to check my dash (as my car was parked facing inwards).

I was furious at this situation. Especially since it's happened to me more than once.

I am volunteering there tomorrow at 11. I was there last year but not as a volunteer. I remembering it being packed in the afternoon, there's going to be a lot of people. If you come early, we can probably provide you with a handbook that shows the different employers that you might be interested in. See you tomorrow!

How long does it take to get your marks from a final exam?
I have checked mybcit but nothing.
I wrote it last Wed.

sometimes it takes less than a week, and sometimes it take months. depends how together the instructor is.

I've have exams marked within 2 hours of writing them, then also have had to wait 2 months in the summer for my final mark for a course because the prof "couldn't find them".

it varies a lot on the induvidual.
