you won't be able to do triple o's everyday, lol.

I would go to timmy ho's when not busy for bagel and coffee, or get a grilled cheese sandwich and curly spicy fries from the campus cafe in the Great Hall cafe. Triple o's once every few weeks. they have a lot of different types of food in the Great Hall tho, changes almost daily so you should check that out.

You get ur loans transferred starting the first day of classes, they do not give it before classes start. so your bank my receive it during the first or second week of classes.

As well you have to make sure to send in the print/sign/declare sheet by snail mail!!!! i forgot to do this, it is online and you can print it out. AND then they are going to send you a mail with your banking info, you have to get it filled out by the bank then take it to a Canada Post office.

If your deferral was granted that means your loan is approved and either they are waiting for more paperwork from you... or if you have done everything just wait until the first week of classes and check your bank acct daily for the funds transfer. and be wise with you loan, lol, don't spend it on your car... because eventually and unfortunately you do have to pay it back.

Thanks for the info nabs, already went through all the process. Handed the bank form thing almost 2 months ago. As for the spending money on my car, won't be a problem, LOL. :ilied:

What time do you have class? A lot of trades classes start at 7-7:30 so you'll find yourself parking closer to Willingdon if you don't get there before 9am.

According to my schedule my earliest class is 830 am.
However when I was fulltime in January I would always drive past NE1 along Canada Way around 815 and the lot looked packed!

TjAlmeida 08-13-2012 07:25 PM

the lot is fine now because it's summer semester. Come fall its packed

Who's the best/worst instructor for Automotive Technician Foundation?

88SupraT 08-21-2012 09:24 PM

^ The "best" or "worst" teacher could be highly subjective, depending on different people some could say this one but others don't agree and etc. When I took the foundation program my teacher was Greg Buerk. He was an awesome teacher in my view very easy going and knowledgeable + he always let me bring my civic in to work on. Hell I did my header, bushings, brakes, and lot of other things through out the program.

z3german 08-22-2012 11:43 AM

Anyone taking automotive refinishing? Or has taken it?

My class starts 6:30am sept 10 NE10

Just wondering if anyone has previous knowledge about what the scheduling will be like, or is it different all the time?

BCIT is BS with the scheduling.... on the acceptance letter says on the day of sept 10 i will find out my schedule from the prof, so dumb how the hell can i plan my work schedule with it so ambiguous until the last moment.
