Take the stairs were the canopy parking stalls are to wayburne. Cross the street to the other side, and you will see a big lot. Just google maps the address I posted.

In terms of parking, I usually just pay the $5.25 since I'm on campus from 6am - 10pm anyway. But if I do leave early, I like to leave my stub in the machine. I know other people do that too. Anyone that's looking for free parking should check the machines first.. and give back when you can :)

I wonder if impark even bothers to check motorcycle parking and how they issue a ticket without it flying away

Probably tape it on. I don't think they check motorcycle. They hardly check visitors parking after 11 - 1pm.

Just a little preview on what's to come.. and seeing if there's interest:

I'm VP of Operations at the BCIT Business Management Association. One of the events I have - want to plan is going to be something car related (+ maybe BAJA showcase we'll see). Don't want to spoil it yet.

The car community has been given a bad reputation lately, and I want BMA to help bridge the gap between the general public and the car community.

If possible, it'd be cool if we could do a track day... hehehe

Out of general curiosity, but how do you bridge the gap with the general public by having a track day? Or is this completely unrelated?

Yeah, completely unrelated. Though I think it'd still be nice. Track day would be more orientated towards networking with different technologies at school or have industry professionals (unlikely) come and join us. Obviously, it would be industry professionals who are gear oriented.

I wonder if I can take the ticket stub, put it on my dash then park it on the gravel field. They don't have stall numbers or license plate for that area. On the other note a car meet would be cool. Lots of nice cars at BCIT. Some 17 year old kid in automotive has a viper lol

Yes, you can do that. I believe the stub is transferable anywhere in campus, except in faculty zones where there's a time restriction.

I saw that viper in the shop the other day! Asked a guy about it, and he's like "it's just a dodge", and proceeded to rant about foxbody mustangs. I had never learned so much about mustangs, as I did in those 30 seconds.

There's 2 s2000s (one owned by faculty) on campus. Oh! There's a bagged r32 golf in NE1. There's also a JDM itr, JDM supra, slammed evo, 2 stance accord coupes with a wrap, b4 s4, a couple of g wagons, and a McLaren. Oh and a shit load of white civics that I won't even know which one's mine. 😅

I Have found free stubs in the parking machine every morning. On the lot by the gym and library. It worked today! the impark guy checked my car today at 3:30 as I was walking to the car and no ticket.
I know of four s2000's a black one, red one, silver stone one owned by a staff, white ap1 with hardtop.

Gerbs what do you drive.. to campus? Likely, I've seen you around. I usually take a look at all the cars on campus.

Finding more and more ticket stubs on machine/floor every morning. There was two this morning.

And they dont check motorcycle parking apparantly. Parked full days twice no ticket :fuckyea:

There's always some by the floor, near the pond. Honestly ppl should either throw it away or put it on the machine. Not litter

And all my classes are 8:30am (killmenow :rant) so theres usually spots. If I drive I park in the corner of the lot where that 370Z always parks
