your municipal gives you a warning ticket for not shoveling your drive way, 2nd offence and is like 200 bucks.

usually i just make a narrow path on my sidewalk, takes <5 minutes.

was just at CT, asians buying road salt like tmmrw is the apocalypse or something..

illicitstylz 11-20-2010 01:29 PM

any places that sell snow tires and offer free installation/balancing? Or even promotion pricing ?

Sorat is the only one I can see from the RS licensed vendors but they're all the way in North Vancouver.

Gh0stRider 11-20-2010 02:38 PM

jackass VW in 2 spots ... upon closer inspection ...

Awesome note someone left on its windshield:

"Thanks for parking in two spots ASSHOLE!!!!!!"

Wished I could "LIKE" things in real life. Would LIKE that, there were no spots and some douche took up two.

temperature is going to drop to -3*C tonight and the roads are still wet so there will probably be black ice

to play devil's advocate on that jetta taking up two parking spots - I don't know the circumstances but if the owner had parked while the lot was covered in snow only to have the snow melt from under the car, I could see how he parked that way. When snow covers a parking lot, it can be difficult to figure out where the lines actually are.

I doubt this reason is valid being that every other car parked just fine.

There is the possibility he/she parked there when there was snow there and the others parked within their parking space when the snow melted and the lines were visible.

Yup. I went up to SFU to play around in the MR2 without any issues at all. Went right by all the fools stuck trying to get up the hill with bald/summer tires. After passing the first 3 cars, I begun to see a pattern emerging. They were mostly BMW and Mercedes tho there were a couple of Toyotas and Hondas as well...

striderblade 11-21-2010 04:30 AM

Agreed.

Who gives a shit why? Point is, everyone else can park properly so no reason for this douche to fuck things up for people who actually know what they're doing.

That parking lot has a maximum parking time of 3 hours.
I went yesterday at around 2 pm. That parking lot was absolutely clean of snow. Do the math!.
