Hmm thinking of switching to the 100 bundle. So my dlink 655 router will not work with that plan and i'm force to use that shitty smc router they provide? |
their shitty smc router probably wont be able to handle heavy loads either. It's slow, and prone to freezing up/restarting. What I did was just turn off the wifi and routing capabilities of the smc modem/router by calling shaw. I tried to change the settings myself but everytime it restarted it'd just wipe my changes. As for router, I'm sure a cisco unit or custom built router would be ideal. So far I've had 5 days of heavy downloading between 10-11 megabytes a second (80-88mbps) without a hitch. |
