I sat in it and played around but I'm not sure for the public opening. I would assume it'd be open but it looks like they locked it and the BRZ up for the VIP event tonight. |

I think it was cause we bought a Caravan from them 7 years ago, quite a long time for them to be still sending us promotional stuff. A+ for trying that's for sure. |
The BRZ is so secretive still vs the FRS |
|
Just put a deposit in @ open road. Hope these things arrive sooner than later. |
It's locked at the auto show :( Even buttered up the guy before asking to unlock it but he said they don't even have the keys down there...BS or not, you can't sit in either :( |

the front end :megusta: |

I like the headlights. They look more aggressive angular rather than circular. |
looks great in person imo. nice size for a modern car |

Saw it at the autoshow and it badly needs a drop. Can't believe the stock height is so high, I fit five fingers in the wheel gap. |

I was looking at this at this thing at auto show and noticed a couple things: -bolt pattern is 5x100 -exhaust hangs really really low, and even at the tiny stock diameter, it had a bunch of dents / restrictions in it to clear various things under there -with the front seats set to a fairly average position, the back seats had zero leg room Scion rep also said the stock offset was +43. Was kinda hoping for lower than that. Still, for $26,000.. really tempted. |
^ yeah, definitely not a car to get if one actually plans on using the back seats. Interesting about the exhaust...Hopefully it's just been driven carelessly and it's not gonna scrape every pebble when lowered :heckno: |
I kinda felt like switching allegiances to the BRZ after seeing both at the AutoShow.......... that front eggcrate grille on the FR-S looked soooooooo cheap in real life :( |
here are the pictures I took of both cars at the autoshow.... https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...04728697_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...41866108_n.jpg |
