First Setoguchi and now Heatley? the fuck..

krazynuck 07-03-2011 06:43 PM

that's a pointless trade

unless bad blood in the locker room

d1 07-03-2011 06:44 PM

Wouldn't surprise me if heatley wanted out because of his diminished role

murd0c 07-03-2011 06:44 PM

shawn79 07-03-2011 06:54 PM

Ronin 07-03-2011 07:05 PM

WTF trade is that?

Heater just has such a bad rep for disappearing in the playoffs.

Simulated 07-03-2011 07:21 PM

this move frees up 2 mil for the sharks in terms of cap hit.

Wilson must have been pissed with Heatley's no-show in the playoffs.

Of course the GM would be pissed. Or are you thinking about Ron Wilson, former coach of the Sharks. Doug Wilson is the current GM.

he no longer wanted to feel so blue and thought the grass is greener on the other side :troll:

but he has never really been the same since the accident

RRxtar 07-03-2011 08:33 PM

why does everyone think coho has been rotting in the minors for 5 years? he just turned 21 and was drafted in 08, and wasnt expected to break the big league immediately anyway. then add to that, he missed all of the 08-09 season with his back problems, and then was sent back to the OHL in 09-10 and only played 13 games and missed the rest of the season, again, due to back problems. hes only had 1 year as a pro which was this year and it took him half the season to get up to AHL speed.

give him another year before deciding what to do with him. let him own in the A and if we have an injury up the middle, bring him up then

wtf you talking bout man? he had two 50 goal seasons and one 40 goal season after the accident. Prior to the accident he had one 41 goal season

unless you're talking about something else?

I really hope our AHL team actually supports the development of players instead of just playing the vets like previously mentioned.

With all the depth/AHL signings, hopefully it'll please the AHL affiliates so that we can get our prospects in tip top shape instead of giving them limited icetime and having their development spoil.

spideyv2 07-03-2011 08:40 PM

People say Heatley disappears during the playoffs but he still has 57 points in 66 games.
Closer to a ppg than the Sedins :troll:
