until you are stuck in traffic in 30C weather with your wife and there's no AC.
I've still never owned a vehicle with AC
I think in the past when summers weren't so crazy, it was more or less acceptable. It's becoming tougher these days though I find. This reminds me, I need to buy one of those neck fans from Amazon... worth a shot.
Not sure if anyone else has seen this History of BC youtube channel, I've been getting my nostalgia fix from here lately. Some good videos, one on the history of Westwood showed up:

The no AC bit might worse in the Miata as you either put the top down and get broiled, or you get baked with the black vinyl top.
The new owner of the car had put on a tan top since and I'd think it would be better.

Such a shame we don't have anything like that anymore.
Yea they ran stock cars up at Westwood Plateau, I think it was up until the early 80s. You can still find bits of the old track and some of the street names are named after the track.

That's crazy! Even my 2000 Honda Civic DX (with manual roll up windows) has AC.

I'm not sure my EK ever had AC even before my ownership. The EF, I would consider adding it but the car is already lacking in power and finding the parts is the biggest issue. Would be nice though lol.
Midori is by far the best civic hatch colour going from the EK era, definitely one of those didn’t think so at the time colours but now it’s the perfect 90’s jdm colour
Yeah, as a teenager it didn't give me any vibes but nowadays you recognize how damn rare it was. I just saw one in a parking lot maybe a month ago and snapped a pic even though it was in rough condition. Other than Champ White, those are probably top 2.
If you are building a quick North American EK hatch, Midori Green and whatever that Purple is called is definitely good. Same if you go EM1 you need to get it in Electric Blue or whatever it was called.
Now if you want a full all out build. I want mine in Phoenix Yellow.
