Taking econ 334 with douglas catherine. I heard the class was an easy elective. Anyone know how its like? Format how to study etc. Thanks

Energy 08-01-2012 11:57 AM

All you need to know is that any class with Catherine Douglas is an easy A so good choice.

it's an easy class -- but in her classes you have to read a lot and most of the evaluation is based on papers...

I prefer to take exams and just have problem sets every month. If you want an easy A take Land Economics with Gulati!

for all her classes, i never read shit :fullofwin:

at the end of the term, just form an army of like 15 ppl and split up the review questions and make a google document from it.

basically memorize the answers and u will do good cause her exam is made up of 3 review questions.

a lot of people drop on the course drop deadline... in engineering I used to have registration up to 50 credits / term so I'd hoard coarses till the end and see which ones I like :troll:

kcl38 08-03-2012 05:47 PM

I know not a lot (any?) of you guys live on campus so you might not know the feeling but I've been stuck at 282 on the wait list for housing for the last month now :fuuuuu:

Energy 08-03-2012 05:55 PM

Do you have a backup? What'll you do if you don't get in?

kb 08-03-2012 06:02 PM

I have BIO334 as a backup, but id prefer to take something else instead. Right now i just need an upper level science course thats not psychology.

Anyone know of some easy mark booster upper level science courses?

SchoolGlue 08-06-2012 03:27 PM

lol got 81% in wine sciences, finally can graduate. I got a new avenue of liquoring up now too

Energy 08-06-2012 03:37 PM

Haha nice. I've always wanted to know more about wines. I want to know enough to be able to appreciate them more. Did you actually drink wine in class or is it like arts where it's all theory?
