The only reason everyone is cheering is because he's chinese taipei, if he was afro american or somthin this thread would never exist |
Floyd.... is that you ?? http://www.bakitwhy.com/sites/defaul...;s%20tweet.jpg
in that case I'll respond the same thing I tweeted back at you.... @FloydMayweather so it has nothing to do with the fact that he's lead a horrible team who couldn't buy a game to 5 straight wins? u idiot
and for the people downplaying his success because he's playing in a PG oriented system, that's true and false at the same time.... true because certain systems are easier to play in, but false because you still have to have the skill present no matter what you're doing on the floor...
as for the turnovers yall forget that even Nash when playing for D'Antoni has always been a high turnover PG as well, but Lin is averaging WAY too many... he needs to chill a little bit and attack when the defense gives him a little something, instead of recklessly trying to push his way almost every time, that alone will cut his turnovers down in half..
Now not bragging or nothing but relevant point is relevant, few years ago I played a summer circuit of pro ball in Europe where I backed up an ex NBA player who played minutes with LeBron in Cleveland... why ? because aside from him they needed someone else who knew how to run an american style pick and roll, so I got the shot... as opposed to majority of Euro ball where they just swing the ball around until there is space to shoot or drive... so the relevance is, sometimes the circumstances are perfect for a player and his specific skillset which works out for that player, I know this from first hand experience but at the end of the day there is no way I could have played unless I was good at the game of basketball overall..... Lin is good at this game, asian white black, don't matter... he's GOOD at the game |
