I was thinking a BRZ might be a fun addition to my stable, and no fiving way would i ever deal with Richmond Subaru. At least ship it off to Calgary until it sells, or the heat dies down. But this shows arrogance, and/or stupidity on their part.

Wow.
I am dissapoint.

I am seriously considering a BRZ too,but the fuck if I'm going anywhere near Richmond Subaru,I would rather drive out of my way and buy one from a dealership in the Valley or even the island than this fucking place.

The owner of Richmond Subaru seriously needs to clean house at this place, starting from the top (GM) and work his way down(lot boy/deatailer).

Since the owner of the dealerships own a few Subaru dealerships.. he can just ship it out of the province and resell it else where.

Gazorcoop 03-16-2012 12:35 PM

This thread makes me feel like going in there, pretending to be interested in a Subaru, get close to the closing papers, waste all of their time, and walk out on them.

Good on you OP for not blowing up!

I guess if they have a legitimate deal then its alright.

Make sure you guys have agreed on a set price and double check all the paperwork, dont tell them to do a paint protection pkg and detail, no pre delivery car wash, dont do anything that involves them handling the car.

Although the idea is to try to run them out of business by driving people away to other subaru dealers :accepted:

umpadupa 07-01-2012 12:04 AM

LOL thank man, yea, funny thing is i saw the deal the last owner got from wolfe... im gonna run in there tomorrow and see if i can get a new one for the same deal LOL

Is OBP black? It will never stay swirl free... you can just minimize it as best you can and when its really swirled up after a couple of years get a professional detail job.

There are a couple of sponsors who can get rid of your paint issues for you.

I actually spent a year downtown with the ferrari and mcl guys getting pro at dealing with black cars. Its possible to have a swirl free black car, hard but possible. EVENTUALLY the swirls will come back based on types of wax and how you wash your car but if you properly care for it after a good detail then you should have no problems what so ever.

Have you considered filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau? I'm not sure how the BBB will handle the complaint process, but even if they can't help you resolve it, at least you've retaliated by causing some more annoyance to the dealership by making them answer to another agency.

Should consider blacking out the headlight housing. Looks too chromey for a racecar :fullofwin:

Redlines_Daily 07-23-2012 09:58 PM

can you give an update of what happened? I read your first post with your updates, but at that point you still had the black Sti, 35 pages later you have a white one :p.
