It’s like their Chinese food, every time you eat it you realize why you shouldn’t

Is this like your pizza is like cardboard comment from a few years back?

Things never change. You keep doing you............

It's only good (as in acceptable) if it's the premium sushi from the DT location and hasn't been in the cooler for long (less than five minutes). Real wasabi is a plus. The regular stuff, wouldn't even look at it.

MG1 04-23-2025 12:38 PM

Little Caesars Pretzel Pizza for $5.00 today only, as far as I know. Walk-in only.

That’s not Costco sushi!!! I mean Costco carries it, but it’s not made by them, in house and fresh. 3rd party sushi from Costco is pretty bad.

MG1 04-23-2025 03:43 PM

Kinda liking this Pretzel Crust. I like it salty.................... like some people here.

Yea even the sushi in Tokyo Costco looked quite good but was mid acceptable at best when I tried last year.

Agree. I was at a Costco in Japan. Don't even know exactly where it was. Next to an Ikea and a Fujiya Confectionary store. Sushi was not so memorable, unlike everything else in Japan. I went last October. When were you there? Apparently, I went during the record they set for visitors. Stupid. No snow on Mt. Fuji for first time ever in October and it happened to be the one time I went.

For any of you who do your own oil changes, Canadian Tire has Castrol Edge 5L on sale this week for $39.88 but has an additional $10 mail-in rebate, making it $29.88 each. Castrol GTX also applies for a rebate, except it's a $5 rebate. I haven't seen Castrol on sale at these prices in a while.

and........ if you go today and spend $200.00, you get $50.00 back in the form of promo card and points.

PLus, put it on the 24 month, no interest, equal payment plan. Must be a Triangle Card member.

Yup, it’s that time of week again. Went a little late. Had to fight my way through all these high school jocks to get my Twoonie Chicken at Safeway.

Missed last week.

If any of you are into Spam, H Mart has a sale on them. 4 for $10.00. Lowest Ive seen them for quite some time. Maybe they're fake.

London Drugs, Save-On-Foods, Superstore, and No Frills match ad prices.

Fukin hell, it’s like half the size of the regular ones. Knew it was too good to be true. Oh well, stocking up on cheap seaweed.

did you check in on that weight loss thread?

I remember having a few $4.99 Spicy Chicken sandwich at Wendy's during their promo.

unit 05-03-2025 07:31 AM

i went to mcds this morning to bring some ice coffees for my crew working today. they were regular price since it's not summer drink days yet for $1 or whatever. I order 5 on my app and show up, and the girl at the window is like, you can only have 4. i'm like, it's regular price, you should be able to sell me 5. she's like no its summer drink days the max is 4, do you still want it? i said no and left for tim hortons.

seriously in what world do you turn down selling 5 watered down coffees for $17 because 4 is the limit? she even got the manager to come tell me the same thing. something tells me they are pretty dumb at that mcdonalds.

Badhobz 05-03-2025 07:41 AM

You should have called her a clown, then peel off in a cloud of smoke and fury.

unit 05-03-2025 07:47 AM

lol i said i didnt want it and rolled up my window and left. later i saw that the app still charged me so i had to make a quick call to mcdonalds support line which refunded me

whats dumber is the workers already started making the drinks when they realized that they couldnt sell me 5. had to dump it all out, waste cups, etc...

Gumby 05-03-2025 07:49 AM

So the manager and worker told you it’s summer drink days (which it clearly is not) even though you got charged regular price? Wtf?

What location was this?

unit 05-03-2025 07:54 AM

yup she did say that. i even told her that they're regular price so what is the problem. king george and 102 location.

the whole reason for the limit was so that when they are $1 and in the height of summer people arent depleting all the ice and cups and just causing an overall strain on the system. i went at 745am when it was dead and it wasnt even on sale... no wonder these people are working at mcdonalds.

Badhobz 05-03-2025 08:06 AM

Typical Surrey bs. If this was Richmond, the flips would just let you proceed and likely even give you a free muffin.
