i used to like stella and Heineken but not so much any more. I think atm my favorite beer is Rickards white but, i also enjoy asahi, most of the granville island beers are good, grasshopper, and probably more that i cant think of right now

Hondaracer 05-02-2012 04:04 PM

i like Keiths white alot more than the Rickards

i really dont like anything Rickards brews

winson604 05-02-2012 05:56 PM

Oh also forgot to mention one of my favs is La Fin du Monde. I like the extra alchy content and the taste is great too.

Meowjin 05-02-2012 06:37 PM

Yeaaaa Unibroue ftw!

Renthal 05-02-2012 09:40 PM

Light house Race Rocks Amber ale - love the little bit of sweetness
Rickards Red - same as race rocks
1516 - delicious
keith's red

apparently rolling rock is really good but hard to find
i'm going down to portland in a few weeks, apparently there are a ton of great micro-breweries there

westopher 05-04-2012 10:23 AM

If I'm drinking with dinner, a any unibroue, Innis and gunn, or a hoegaarden.
If I'm planning on getting sloshed, I like pbr, pilsner, or Colt 45. They are cheap and they all taste good. (If you grew up drinking colt, you know it eventually goes from terrible, to tolerance, and eventually to love)

Hondaracer 05-04-2012 03:35 PM

They have rolling rock at Rogers arena now

I really enjoyed it although it tastes like a super light beer

sonick 05-04-2012 03:45 PM

Yea I bought a 4-pack of Rolling Rock at BCLS and thought the same thing; very very light.

w00t weekend! Think I'll start things off with a pint of Hoegaarden tonight.

Expresso 05-04-2012 10:05 PM

I can't enjoy Hoegaarden without a slice of orange!

Has anyone else tried Granville Island Raspberry ale?

I had it quite often last summer and found it a very refreshing, light summer beer.

It's alright, if you like them fruity beers

2damaxmr2 05-10-2012 11:12 AM

Guinness or Granville island lager.

Obsideon 05-10-2012 03:57 PM

There are far too many delicious beers that I enjoy for me to list (Keith's White Ale, Guiness, Bud Light Lime, Granville Island Maple, Grasshopper Wheat Ale, Cobra India Ale, Hoegaarden, Asahi, Stella, etc) it's easier for me to list beers that I do NOT like to drink:

1) Coors Light - I would rather just drink water or nothing at all then consume this piss-like conconction of what they label a beer!
2) Pacific Pilsner - Did a beer marathon at the Rugby House (RIP) where they had like 8-12 different beers on top, we had a pint of every glass from the bottom of the menu, until we got to this beer at the top (also the cheapest) and we figure ... oh snap why not, we're pretty buzzed already and had a dozen other beers before this, how bad could it be?... oh FML it was still gross lol!
3) Old Stock Ale - Friend brought it to a party, never again will I drink this.
4) Budweiser - I can handle if it's the only thing available (got used to it at Rogers Arena) but I definitely wouldn't order it if I had any other choice.

My basic run of the mill staple would be Kokanee though.

If you like fruity beers, then you should definitely check out "Fruli"
It's a Belgian Strawberry Beer, delicious!
