Anyone try the Granville Island Ginger Ninja? The ads are getting to me and I've been getting curious. Granville Island Brewing | Ginja Ninja Ginger Beer |
^^ Just bought a box of the Ginja Ninja. It's refreshing. The ginger is there, but it's light. It's also not sweet like other ginger beers I've tried. GI is on the right track. Personally, I would prefer it to be more gingery... with a nice bite. Still, it's the best ginger beer I've had, so far. I bought mine at BCL. It's probably out of stock at your local beer store. |
I bought some ginja ninja, I liked it although I found it hard to taste a distinct ginger flavour? Found it mild good depth and smooth aftertaste probably not Somthing id buy all the time but still enjoyed it That raspberry beer though uhgggggg :S Posted via RS Mobile |

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I like GIB False Creek Raspberry Ale. It's no Fat Tug, but it's refreshing and drinkable on a hot summer day. The seasonal raspberry wheat ale they've produced in the past is better, though. |
I'm not a huge fan of GIB in general but I've come to accept their raspberry ale as one of the only few I will have on a nice summer day. |
On a related note. If you enjoy GIB Raspberry Ale, and haven't given Parallel 49 Seedspitter Watermelon Wit a try, you should. Personally, I prefer the former, but compared head to head, the later is no slouch. On a related note to the related note, Parallel 49's first birthday just passed. It's hard to believe Parallel 49 is such a young brewery, they've taken the marketplace by storm. Granted, they have an all-star brewing team, a clever marketing department, and quite the bankroll, but advantages considered, they've achieved a massive amount of success in a very short time. |
Not to mention I haven't been disappointed at any of their beers thus far. |
Speaking of Parallel 49, I had a chance to have their most recent release Hopnotist, and it is as awesome as this review says: Parallel 49 Hopnotist at Barley Mowat |
Had this in Chicago recently. Really enjoyed it. Like a smoother, less bitter Guinness. Tempted to order a case through BCL, unless someone knows where to get it locally? http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_OqaGVEc5M...tish+Stout.jpg |
GIB winter ale is pretty amazing for winter days. Something with the sweet/vanilla-ish flavor brings back nostalgic memories of hot chocolate in the cold. Probably didn't make sense to all of you but....yea |

Does parallel 49 do tastings or tours? Posted via RS Mobile |
Yea I believe they do tastings. I'd so love to get a P49 growler if only they weren't so far from me. |
If you're in Seattle Mac & Jacks, African Amber. http://www.macandjacks.com/images/lo...amber_mini.png Edit; Skagit bridge out, no road trips to Seattle in the near future :( |

Found this at BCLS yesterday while grabbing another P49 Hopnotist, looks like it could be a gem; 92%! Lagunitas Lucky 13 Mondo Large Red Ale - Lagunitas Brewing Company - Petaluma, CA - BeerAdvocate http://www.berkeleybowl.com/wine_bee...ge_Red_Ale.jpg |
