I'm definitely a beer geek, but not a beer snob. I enjoy Cariboo, Budweiser, Alexander Keiths, Sleeman, even though they're macros. I understand and respect why they're some peoples' go to beer. Corona is outright awful, though; there's no other way to describe it. It's pseudo mexican, bland, yellow piss. I've never understood why it's such a popular beer and never will. Especially given the wide availability of Sol. Quote:

Yep...went to the liq store today to pick up the ususal Kronenbourg's and saw the price of 12btl Corona coming to 29.99...LOL. Rather drink grape juice |
Sleemans Honey Brown has been my go-to for the past couple months. I like to mix it up though, Grolsch, Rickards White on occasion.. heffs are a good summer beer I find. Everytime I'm on a patio, pints of pale ale are on the bill. My favourite kind of beer is a lot. |

First thoughts is that the ginger is much more apparent than the previous GIB ginger beer. I think I prefer their original ginger beer but I'll have to have another bottle of the Ginja before I pass final judgement. |
I don't usually drink but I have taken a liking to Steam Whistle beer. Goes down very smooth. |

I've been meaning to recommend this for a while, as it's been my go-to ale since I found out about it a few months ago: Bellhaven Best http://res.cloudinary.com/ratebeer/i.../beer_4051.jpg It's like the Scottish version of Kilkenny. It has a nitrogen widget, like Kilkenny and Guiness, but it's fastened to the bottom of the can instead of a free-floating sphere. I think it works better when it's at the bottom. It's normally $2.40/can at BCL. I think it's on sale right now for $2.10. |
picked up the GIB Ginja Ninja, havent tried it yet its still cooling down, also picked up this new one from Philips: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y13...6.jpg~original i find Philips IPA's to be over the top hoppy, i wouldnt expect anything else from a beer called lord of the hops lol anyone who lives in and around Lougheed/North Road, the cold beer store that is kind of attached to Foggy Dew has an amazing craft beer selection |

Edit: Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but just realised that's a Parallel 49 brew not Phillips. Posted via RS Mobile |
Phillips Amnesiac and Driftwood Fat Tug are my go-to DIPA's. Enjoying a Driftwood Clodhopper at the moment, I strongly recommend it. |
Oh yea sorry was thinking Phillips The amnesiac is tasty, I find that some IPAs though just try to be all hops and nothing else with alot if craft brews, no depth Posted via RS Mobile |
Any of you guys using the "untapped" beer app? It's pretty sweet! My user name is digitalldj if anyone does Posted via RS Mobile |
interesting concept "beer chiller" Chillsner by Corkcicle l Official Corkcicle Online Store | Corkcicle |

Friends make fun of me for bringing Sol when their main beer is Corona. :rukidding: |

Give Phillips Hop Circle IPA a try, if you haven't. Hop Circle is definitely an IPA, but not a DIPA, so there's much more depth overall. |
anyone ever have this? it fucking rocks but i cant find it in any local liquor stores https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...tMhK0Bk76jvC5g |
