Decertifying takes a while and requires players vote. The PA can also go 'disclaimer of interest' route which is much quicker, basically the union saying in a memo that it no longer represents the players. Much quicker, no vote, and essentially does the same thing as decertifying.

Concussions are a laughing matter to you? There are a number of players in the league who make my blood boil, even one or two on the Canucks who I'd like to see receive their come-uppins. However, I would never want to see them receive an injury which could effect them for the rest of their lives or end their career nor would I find much humour in it.
