Canadians having no access to Canadian content from a Canadian content provider is the same as Canadians having no access to US content from a US content provider? :fulloffuck:

i thought it was obvious that tsn would restrict it to canada only. i didnt even bother checking it out. cbc does the same. so far i have always find a good place to watch it. so i havnt had a problem watching the games from japan yet.

A 48 game season could really benefit the Canucks

Not if they start off slow like they always do.

Hondaracer 01-02-2013 06:30 AM

Also 48 games will mean more games in a shorter amount of time plus more travel =more injuries

Tank the season and get MacKinnon!

Out of anyteam I think it will benefit the Oilers the most.

SkinnyPupp 01-02-2013 08:53 AM

Yeah a short season is a worst case scenario for the Canucks, especially if they happen to be keeping Lu for whatever reason :heckno:

Assuming Lu isn't the starting goaltender, it shouldn't be too bad... :p

Can't wait to see Corey be less than everyone expects : D

The NHL and NHLPA are reportedly discussing the idea of expanding the NHL postseason from 16 to 20 teams. Report: NHL, NHLPA discussing expanded postseason | The Score

murd0c 01-02-2013 10:37 AM

Gh0stRider 01-02-2013 10:38 AM

if in fact Luongo does get traded to the Leafs,
in a shortened season, how much can they benefit when Luongo sits on his ass and trolls the internet all day long..

With only 48 games I actually wouldn't mind if they just tanked and got a first rounder that is nhl ready

Tim Budong 01-02-2013 11:54 AM

McKinnon is playing like garbage right now
hahahah

JKam 01-02-2013 12:18 PM

Drouin is where it's at right now lol

NO.

Fuck that. What...2/3rds of the league makes the playoffs!? Is this PICH or Coast or something?

Might as well give people "participant" Stanley Cups. The season needs to get SHORTER. NOT LONGER. And LESS TEAMS, NOT MORE. 82 games is a fuck ton of hockey plus 5-8 pre-season games and 16-28 playoff games?

Or the CFL? :p

IMO, I think the season length of 82 games is just about right... Look at a MLB season! And the 16-28 playoff games shows that the Stanley Cup is the toughest trophy to win in professional sports.

murd0c 01-02-2013 01:24 PM

more games = more profit sharing = making up the money they can't agree on

Well, that's not entirely his fault. He is playing on the 4th line and he was split from Drouin.

this...more teams get in, the more 'profit' they get (at least you hope they'll make money)
