I meant to ask if there are any tasks that are inconvenient or uncomfortable doing on the smaller screen of Q10, as opposed to IPhone/Android full screen devices.

Depends , cause if the keyboard is pulled up on the Z10 and if it you look at it side by side, the Q10 screen is bigger.

I guess if you like seeing alot of stuff on your screen such as emails texts and bbm/whatsapp, by all means get a bigger screen.

I like the screen on the Q10 , it could be bigger but im not a complainer.

Anybody having a hard time getting a white q10? I'm still waiting =( probably settle for the black version.

^what carrier are you on? If you on rogers they are really easy to find...cant say for any other carrier tho!

I have been a Blackberry user for 7 years now. I am trying out the S4 just cause, but I played with the Q10 the other day and nearly changed my mind. Absolutely amazing phone. I can almost say with 100% certainty that if I don't like the Galaxy I will sell it and grab a Q10

right now Im using a iphone5 first ever full touch screen device I've used and os is boring, apps are good, build quality is ok thought it would be better since its apple but yeah...previously had 3 blackberries and am going back to one by picking up a q10 tomorrow. Can't stand having shitty battery life anymore..

Umm i think the possible release date for headless Api released meaning apps can run in the background without being open as soon as developers push it on their apps.

Maybe more information on when Jelly bean will be released.

with your q10 is the a lot of similarities to OS7 to OS10? if so if not what is it missing?

the q10 seems to lack the custom options compared to the 9900 i had before.. sound profiles, led options, messaging tweaks, etc

the one main benefit of the new operating system is everything is a lot faster, the browser is much better and it just seems more streamlined

i'm more impressed with the quality of the phone than the operating system itself.. but that might just be because i had a playbook already and was just used to the qnx features already

These things are minor and will be added soon as more API's are released for developers to be able access more of the core OS.

the headless api's would be a start! then hopefully major App developers can see how great the response is of both the z10 and q10 to the consumer market. I for one couldn't pick up a q10 today since rogers were being little greasy assholes ie customer service/retention reps. Got that all sorted out now I will be able to pick it up tomorrow. But just by playing with the q10 in FS its a slick device and oh that physical keyboard! :fuckyea:

Haha yeah I was surprised bbm was going cross platform but yeah looks like I will have a full list of contacts! Btw picked up a q10 wow so different to type on a physical keyboard again!

BBM is the most secure messaging application in the world. So yes, it will definitely replace whatsapp. I haven't even tried any other messaging app besides BBM since the security blows

I can't even believe that people say that BBM is inferior to other under developed cross platform that just tells me how ignorant you are towards blackberry.

For example, whatsapp's messages were easily access by hackers due to their security vulnerabilities and the way they use telephone numbers as identifications is utterly mind warping.
