Picked up my Z10 earlier today. So far, so good. I'm going from an iPhone 4 to this now. As mentioned, the two best things about the device are the keyboard and browser. Particularly for me the keyboard's language integration was the final selling point. My sister and her Salvadorian husband live in Montreal so it's not uncommon for me to in a single message use English, French and Spanish. Being able to utilize autocomplete/autocorrect/etc for different languages mid-sentence if necessary is nothing short of amazing. Maps aren't terrible. Not Google good, but better than Apple's recent attempt at it, and I suspect they'll get better with time. I haven't had an opportunity to really play around with it but turn by turn voice directions (unless I'm missing an option somewhere) seem to only work when the application is full-screen active. Which seems weird considering proper multi-tasking and app integration is obviously part of bb10's strengths. Probably an easy fix in an upcoming update anyways. So far, so good. I'll let you guys know what I think of it when I've had a chance to play with more options, but since I really only use my phones as phones, text/e-mail, browser, maps - and it hits 3 of those bang-on, I don't suspect I'll end up regretting my decision anytime soon.

Update for Blackberry Link software is out today, fixes some of the bugs some people where having with data transfer and backups.

My phone broke. Ear piece speaker sounds blown. Going to see what I can do about getting it replaced tomorrow.

Blackberry should of just made bbm cross platform and charged a fee for premium services like video chat and voice calls. Or like whatsapp, start charging after a year (like it is on android). Wechat is also another popular one outside of NA.

I have 3 matte screen protectors for the z10 that are extra. Not really looking to make a profit or anything, just helping out fellow RSers and selling them at my cost. $2 each if we meet at Waterfront station during M-F business hours, or $3 and I'll mail it to you (pay me through paypal).

Nope. The store did a no questions asked over the counter swap for me tho. Doing a backup from one phone and a restore to a new one was a little tricky in BBLink but I got it figured out.

updating now. 149mb on Telus. Most on Crackberry are reporting 149mb on Rogers and Telus, and a few are getting an additional 750mb update after that?
