I really like their stuff actually, I got a hoodie, a longsleeve in burnt design and a V-neck in smoked design. Feels so nice and soft ! |
anyone know how dsquared jeans fit? saw a pair of regular fit online in size 30. Do they fit bigger or smaller? is the material really rough and hard? I'm usually size 31 in jeans and debating over this pair of size 30. |
anyone have suggestions on dress socks for work? black, grey, argyle, whatever. I find that all my dress socks keep getting holes right by the shin/heel, so maybe something cheaper in price and in multi packs. thanks |
I just order 3 pairs of these, they look to be good quality and aren't plain and dull, but are a lil'bit pricey at $15 a pair. Mens Socks |Gifts | Striped - Vivarati.com I've have a couple pairs of these for when I need plain black dress socks, they seem to be good quality but I don't wear them all that often. Decently priced for dress socks at $10 a pair. Viccel Natural Quality |
thanks, didn't think about online was thinking more locally, but i'll def take a look at those sites. |

Do Clarks boots (Desert boots etc.) go on sale? I'm not too familiar with the brand but I'm likin the look |
I gotta ask. What do you guys think of athletic shoes with casual wear? As in when you see people in nice jeans, nice shirt, nice jacket, and all of a sudden, they have a pair of Nike trainers on. This always bugs me for some reason. Maybe I'm just crazy. But... to each their own.. I guess. |
if you're wearing casual clothing, i think you can pull of some types of athletic shoes. for example some casual new balance shoes can be pulled off with a button down and casual chinos. if you're talking about cross trainers (running shoes), then no, its a bad look. http://2.cf.mdi.m3cdn.net/wp-content...n79co1_500.jpg |
Yup. I'm talking straight up gym shoes. Posted via RS Mobile |
yeah im gonna say no to add to that, ive never seen an otherwise well dressed person try to pull this off second edit, my bad i realized i posted a pic of a guy wearing tretorns which are casual sneakers. i should know i have a pair! |
Runners just don't work. I saw a guy wearing a dress shirt + trousers yesterday. The shoes he was wearing: Vibram Five Fingers. Certain athletic shoes can work, however. Like the New Balance 574: http://cdn.dressed.so/i/507cb338b4047m.jpg http://i.imgur.com/1Jhoy.jpg Or Nike Frees/Lunarglides on a techwear fit. |

A single item completely juxtaposed to the overall style will look misplaced and odd. If you can work an athletic look into another area of the outfit then it has potential. If you were a fan of the show, recall that Dr. House always wore athletic shoes, denim, a partially unbuttoned button down, and sport coat, which to my eye worked well because of the exposed t-shirt. I'm also guilty of what most consider a serious faux pas, I used to routinely pair athletic shoes with a suit, but I made it work, and not just to my eye, I used to always get random compliments on it from well-dressed people. In general though, athletic shoes with a suit looks like complete rubbish. So, overall, I think it's one of those things that's hard to pull off, but possible. |
http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9...6xxo1_1280.jpg Really hard to pull off, but this guy definitely did. :ahwow: |
just my opinion but nah, dont like it. too much blue going on with no contrast, and peaked lapel jacket with sneakers... not working for me. |
See while I don't think it looks too baaad, a nice pair of brown or black oxfords would look 5x better. |

Why can't women in Vancouver dress like the women in the pictures? |

It went well with his "don't-give-a-fuck" personality. His essential style was just a button down and sportcoat over your everyday jeans and t-shirt. |
