Any recomendations on dress shoes in the 200-350 range? Basically looking for Somthing that is going to last me a long time and be versatile with outfits Posted via RS Mobile |
basically allen edmonds |
Allen Edmonds for sure. I really want a pair but I won't be able to wear them as often as I would like. I wish I worked in an office where I could wear a suit or be able to dress up a little more. |

Also, question. What footwear do you guys wear in the snow? I know it doesn't snow enough in Vancouver to need to really worry. More out of interest. |
I'll be wearing these Timberland Earthkeeper 6" (waterproof) http://tbl.imageg.net/graphics/produ...4868enh-z6.jpg or my yet-to-arrive Vans Outdoor Era (water resistant) http://shop2.vans.com/wcsstore/Vans/.../IM974ED1B.JPG |
Ooooooooo me likey those Vans. That's a legit line up you've got there. When it snows I usually just wear my Supras, or if I really have to, my steel-toe boots. I've been looking into boots that are more stylish but still practical. |
Go big. Get some Red Wings :) . |
Out of my budget. Especially this time of year lol |

How much are those timberland earth keepers? They are pretty much identical to the red wings 877 Posted via RS Mobile |
They were 40% off when I bought them: $117 shipped to Blaine. The 877s have the delicious Vibram Cristy sole, though. And the stitching isn't perfect (minor grievance) on my Tims even though they aren't seconds, full disclosure. |
Came across this "fool-proof outfit with the secret touch" Dress to attract women without breaking the bank – The fool-proof outfit with the “secret touch” | Quality Dating Life Seems kinda trivial, but it's nice to know I meet the criteria :fullofwin: edit: just checked his "about" page, and he's a dating coach from Vancouver? :suspicious: :lawl: |
What brand do you guys recommend for slim (not skinny)/straight fit chinos? The issue I have is I'm pretty lean but my tighs are getting big because I changed up my running routine so I'm noticing a lot of my slim fitting jeans and pants aren't fitting anymore. I was looking at the Burberry chinos, no idea how they fit tho and does anyone own a pair of the J Crew urban slim fit chinos? |
I like Club Monaco and Wings+Horns chinos. They've got some slim fitting ones that aren't too skinny. Does anyone have any Engineered Garments pieces? I'm looking at getting a work shirt but I'm not sure how exactly they fit. I wear size S in Wings+Horns, would a size S fit almost the same? |
W+H westpoint tapered chino is the fucking bomb. High rise, large thigh, mad taper. Those pants get the most use other than my raw denim. |
i have the jcrew urban fit chinos, they fit great. dunno what to say, try them on! there was a 30% sale this week so that brings em down to around $50-60 |

Ha, I added the W+H chinos to the cart on ssense a few nights ago, logged on tonight and they're sold out. I think I'll check out the W+H's and the J Crew chinos and see how they fit. |
