http://www.reddit.com/r/goodyearwelt is doing a group order on the Dayton Service Boot in charcoal nubuck (same as the W+H collab) if you guys are interested. $425 for Dainite sole, $399 for leather/Vibram +$22 shipping (20% off). Not sure when the cutoff to get your name in is.

link to thread for full deets and ordering info

Heh... i'm weary about their group buys considering the last one was a complete clusterfuck that ended in 1yr+ lead times.

Just had a look at mine, maybe a slight seperation but I can't tell if thays just how it's always been

I think I'm gonna hold off on the service boot. Me and my GF going to Europe in May and I've been told by numerous people that the leather goods in Florence are amazing so might cop a pair of boots from there

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone now that Sport Chek now has most of their Jackets on at 50% off, excluding Canada Goose and Arcteryx
But Nobis, Parajumper, Mooseknuckle, The North Face are all included.
Some of the Nobis Pieces are Parajumper are over $1000 at regular retail 50% off is huge! and for those that have access to team assist coupon...you can stack them...50% off + 20% off team assist puts most jackets below cost.
Metropolis is the only GVRD store to carry Nobis, Metropolis, Park Royal, Richmond should all have Parajumper, and Mooseknuckle

AFAIK, Haven was the only one that carried Carhartt WIP, but seems like they discontinued stocking that brand =/

OTH Online Shop is Canadian and carries their shit, so if you want to purchase online they might be a good place to avoid duties. They had 40-50% off everything during boxing day and Carhartt was included.

kev1n9121 02-23-2014 07:05 PM

yeah haven got rid of their carhartt line as well. i've checked out oth's site a while back but they didnt have what i was looking for. bluejays, i can't find the shirt you're looking for but here's another site that carries carhartt Sneakersnstuff gonna pick me up the texas ii pant and michigan coat :toot:

Does anyone know if the J Crew stores here carry their New Balance line?

Not really racist! 02-23-2014 09:30 PM

PC = Women's only
Robson = Only shoes I see when I go are a couple boots and some boat shoes

They have too little stock there compared to online it sucks
No point ordering online cause of duty/tax/shipping/conversion rape too :/

I believe I've seen NB at J.Crew Robson last summer/fall.

Do not trust Jcrew when they say duty is included in the price. I got charged extra when I received my items.

^

how? did the ups guy ask for money?
i've bought from jcf multiple times and they've been nice, waive about half the duty too
bought from jcrew once and they've been good too

to put in perspective how bad it is.....my friend in Oregon buys something online and it costs 65$, no tax/duty/exchange rate/shipping(this varies), i priced it out and it would cost me $9X USD before conversion

It was my mistake to be honest, I should have checked the bill right away but I was in a rush and left my house without fully looking at the invoice.

Bought a sweater came out to be 140 Cad, and that price should have included duty. When I finally got the sweater and checked the included invoice I was charged 17X CAD.

I stumbled upon this by accident the other night with my wife. I ended up buying her their last Nobis jacket. It was a great deal!

You wouldn't happen to know if any locations have any more men's Moose Knuckle jackets?

Need some recommendations for shoes. Mom wants a shoe that's comfortable for walking. I'm thinking of getting her a pair of nike free 5.0+, thoughts? Good support?

Also, any cheap places to get a pair?

thanks.

for myself, i never liked frees, i don't know why. i didnt feel that comfy for me

hands down the most comfortable shoes that i own are roshes, mayfly wovens, and... i just got the flyknit racers and those are comfy as heck too

bluejays 02-27-2014 06:11 PM

+1 free runs aren't meant to have a lot of support, supposed to be like running in bare feet. I've sprained many an ankle with my free runs and prefer the free trainers over them

hal0g0dv2 02-28-2014 10:36 PM

frees are horrible
New Balance I find our great. Try new balance they have a great selection
