What is your height, weight, and waist ? Trying to figure out if a med or large would be good for me.

I'm 6"1, 180lbs. I wear a 32, and the large was way too big in the waist.

Thanks, guess that means M for me as well.

I got the last Small at Metro Nike today. I ended up getting the hoodie as well. The fit on the hoodie is really nice!

^If only in Sz Small.

Nike metrotown got some more sizes in for the dark grey. Picked up a pair of them too, probably going to return the light grays.

Have you guys heard of the brand Parajumper?

Parajumpers | Gobi Down Bomber Jacket | Coats | Harry Rosen

How do these compare to Canada Goose?

I'm asking because my work has recently started to carry these, and I get a decent discount on them
I'm looking to add another Parka to my wardrobe this year, I already have a Canada Goose Chilliwack Bomber, and is debating between a CG Arctic Down Parka, Moose Knuckle or the Parajumper

Parajumpers Kodiak Jacket Mens - SportChek.ca

Moose Knuckles Canada ? Stirling Parka

or

EXPEDITION PARKA? | Canada Goose

I'll grab 1 out of the 3 for sure but might even get 2...

thoughts guys?

So I guess if I am looking for function...stick with Goose?
This is for Fort McMurray winter, so it does get quite cold...but then again I wont be outside for extended periods of time

I'm 6ft tall. 185lbs and a size 30 waist - mediums were a good fit

You guys have any recommendations for a nice simple wind breaker type jacket that you can also wear going out etc?

Saw a few nice simple ones at the bay but no sizes really, typically take a L but needed a medium in the few I liked

Was thinking along the lines of like a north face/carhart but hard to find anything semi dressy

any of you guys buy from uniqlo us? can't seem to get the order to go through, shipping to PR..

zetazeta 10-18-2013 07:45 AM

^ lemme know if you get it working. There are quite a few uniqlo pieces I would like to buy as well!

Recon604 10-18-2013 09:17 AM

i have the cg hybrid, its not puffy and it keeps you really warm. Best money spent on a jacket ever.

Anyone have a Moncler jacket, are they warm?

Not really racist! 10-18-2013 09:49 AM

I think the ordering thing with uniqlo has to do something with your CC like actually adding a second US address by calling ur CC and then it'll work?

I think its been discussed a bit before here, maybe I'm completely wrong

heh.

ForbiddenX 10-18-2013 11:14 AM

I've tried everything I could to order from Uniqlo and was never successful.

I called my CC to to change the address, didn't work
Tried entering my canadian address, didn't work
used an american visa gift card, didn't work.

Your best bet is to get an amerifriend to order you stuff.

But.. if you find a way please do let us know how you did it lol.

My friend got it working. Shipped to Bellingham. I don't understand how. I've tried everything - american CC, american billing + shipping address and no dice. I guess I can just order using his info now which is cool but I still don't know how he got his to work.
