Anyone have experience with diemme boots? Warm/sturdy enough for daily wear during winter?

Also interested in other stylish boots options preferably in the 200-300 range (I know that limits the options)

zetazeta 11-13-2013 02:38 PM

^ don't you have diesel boots or something? Get wolverine 1000miles bro.

H.Specter 11-13-2013 05:05 PM

wolverine 1000 miles from cranes country store will fit in your budget but more importantly be the best boots you'll ever spend money on.

Thanks for the recommendations! I have a pair of diesels but they are more Dressy, the bottom does not have tread, I want a pair for snow and etc.

The Wolverine 1000 montgomery looks sick as ef!

Wolverines have no tread either bro. You need to get them resoled or get a topys glued on.

wolverines with vibram christys huehue

Hondaracer 11-15-2013 09:12 AM

If your willing to go with the wolverines maybe consider the Dayton service boot?

Although I guess technically they aren't really in the same price range but I think the fitment of the service boot is amongst the best I've felt

Fuarkkk tried these pants on these morning and they were amazing.

Sorry, but educate me on how this will work, so I have my pair of diesels, do I just bring it to a shoe repair shop and they will remove the current sole and replace it with a vibram one like that MORFLEX one? How much am I looking at for this procedure?

Wolverine 1000 Mile Montgomery have a Goodyear rubber lug tread sole. In fact, a number of Wolverine 1000 Mile variations have tread soles..

Anyone here have this?
The North Face Men's Jackets & Vests MEN'S GOTHAM JACKET

Thinking about getting either this or the CG chilliwack.
I could probably get this for about 250 (a friend of mine works at sportchek)
Is the CG really worth double the price or will this be enough?
I don't drive btw, so it gets really damn cold going home sometimes lol

the gotham can be had for less than 250 right now I believe. there's a 25% off northface jackets and with the team assist 20% off which also comes with a 5% cash back also.

heisenberg 11-16-2013 07:32 PM

the cg is very warm, the fur is a bit too much but it does its job.

Kristy721 11-18-2013 01:43 AM

I see the design of Addison 1000 Mile Wingtip Boot, it look awesome. I am willing to buy this boot available at $380.

Suggestions on good field coats? Was looking at Alpha Industries but wasn't sure about the fit. Will go back to try it on again.

Topy is usually around $30, resole will probably be more (cost of new sole+labour).

Nika in Gastown is a reputable cobbler. You can give them a ring and get concrete numbers.
