thanks guys! first things first. chop the stock can to 1/3rd height LOL

so what trickle chargers do you guys use? the cold ass weather today made it very very VERY hard to start the bike. figured i might as well plan ahead and wire one up (as with the USB cable mod someone did on here as well).

looking for good price & good enough to not burn the house down

Recon604 11-29-2014 04:48 PM

Jas29 11-29-2014 05:15 PM

320icar 12-05-2014 02:42 PM

shortened the oem pipe. removed two of the 3 chambers and may cut out the last baffle i left in. but as of now im very very pleased for a free mod.

naw man. this is me, though the harsh winter sun made me look more pale then i actually am

320icar 12-09-2014 10:19 AM

Went riding this morning for an hour before work. Pouring rain but not very cold out. Got a bunch of thumbs up from random ppl. They must be happy to see riders in the winter still.

Thoughts on the muffler: not too much louder in the upper rev range but idle and ~70km/h noise is up a lot. Sounds great and I'm very happy, especially since it was a free mod. But now it's time to start riding with ear plugs

I think I saw you in the morning, as well as just now in your Focus on Bridgeport?

320icar 12-09-2014 04:44 PM

My girlfriend was just driving home so maybe her? I'm at work now but there is also another blue focus st somewhere near Bridgeport. I see him going to and fr work

I love it when I see riders out in all conditions, mucho respect for them, especially once the weather has turned. Makes me miss my gung-ho days of "gonna ride rain or shine no matter what" but now I (sheepishly) retreat to the warmth of the heated seats in my car.

So ride on for the rest of us, that confine ourselves to our cages, until we come out of hibernation. We see you guys (and gals) and think:fuckyea:

Where can i find agv helmets locally? Would like to try one on before i place an order online. Also, where do you guys get your tires? Looking specifically for an 07 gsxr. TIA!

PLUJ 12-16-2014 12:29 PM

Check out Bayside performance, they've got agv helmets.

vexor 12-16-2014 01:57 PM

^^^Also for tires check out Bayside Performance. it's where I got mine and where I plan to get my next set come spring.

604STIG 12-16-2014 02:17 PM

+1 for Bayside. And if you consider shipping and other charges they usually have a very competitive price on lots of stuff. Good luck.

Raid3n 12-16-2014 02:50 PM

Rode to/from work yesterday

:sweetjesus:

Vale46Rossi 12-16-2014 04:41 PM

LOL BAYSIDE.

Check out Pete's superbike for tires, super cheap compared to anywhere!

Also for AGV helmets, Bayside doesnt carry shit, unless you're looking for cheap bottom of the line K-3....

Sunfighter 12-16-2014 07:06 PM

+1 for Bayside as well. Have bought a couple of pairs of tires there and ordered lots of parts. Don't go in expecting a showroom but if you know what you want the prices are very good. Recommend them for sure.

picked up a rear stand for the ladies bike. got home and realized it doesn't take spools like a modern bike, but needs what i would describe as an "L" bracket to sit under her rear swingarm.... guess that means i just got a new rear stand!

does anyone know if you can just buy inserts for the rear stand? or shuold i just make my own by welding some angle iron to a bolt
