Congrats 320:thumbs:

picked one of these up today so its easier to park my bike against the back of the garage ( my garage is tiny lol). The casters aren't the smoothest but for $80 its really well build. 1250lb capacity

Couldn't ignore the sun after work, had to go for a ride!

One of the gates along Ferguson Rd was left open, I couldn't not go up.

on the ride home from the spring meet, i noticed a very very obvious "judder" in my front end under braking. not through the lever but through the handle bars. speed dependant of course. felt like a car if it has uneven wear on the rotors or calipers. im sure you guys know what im talking about. double checked the rotor bolt torque and all other front wheel torques and everything is fine. argh.

also, big thanks to ?NR and the rest of revscene for this awesome present for passing as well. i was quite surprised, and it really took me back. thanks guys <3

bobbinka 03-23-2015 02:47 PM

what do you guys use to clean the chain? and lube?

320icar 03-23-2015 03:52 PM

Motul chain clean and motul chain lube

?NR 03-23-2015 04:10 PM

i'm switching to Motul chain paste from the regular Motul chain spray lube.

to clean, I've used kerosene, various commercial chain cleaners, heck, even used WD40.

did you pick up both locally? i can only find them online.

also heard good things about Chainwax and Motorex Chain Clean, but can only find them online too

cdizzle_996 03-23-2015 06:44 PM

I use Simple green and a tooth brush to clean

320icar 03-23-2015 07:36 PM

Holeshot carries motul oil products

racerman88 03-24-2015 05:50 AM

Most shops can order Motul products in for you. Ask your favourite shop

Dragon-88 03-24-2015 09:58 AM

Honda Centre in BBY also carries Motul. Picked up mine from there last week.

franko 03-24-2015 10:56 AM

I just put it on a rear stand, spin the wheel by hand and, use a rag to thoroughly clean the chain. Make sure to do it slowly so you don't pinch a finger. Easier to clean if you do it more often.

Tried a few lubes, current on Maxima chain wax. Found it collects dirt less quickly than others.

bobbinka 03-24-2015 05:51 PM

Thanks for the replies. I ended up getting the last can of Dupont Chain Saver lube from Lowes and Motul Chain Cleaner from Pacific

racerman88 03-25-2015 05:28 AM

If it helps, I've ordered Motul from Burnaby Kawasaki and Rob at Daytona

Sunfighter 03-27-2015 07:01 AM

320icar ... congrats on the wicked model! AND congrats on your test! How did it go?

ChemChina is acquiring Pirelli for $7.7 billion ...

ChemChina to Acquire Pirelli for $7.7 Billion » Motorcycle.com News

The 143-year old Italian firm is poised to become a part of the Chinese state-owned Chinese National Chemical Corp (ChemChina)....

This move will have zero impact I'm sure on the quality of the product but it's curious none-the-less.

PS ~ I have Pirelli tires. :)

Raid3n 03-27-2015 08:07 AM

0 impact... until they move the factory to china...

or you start seeing Parilli tires hahaha
