Good thing i figured that out before i voided my new warranty lol. Talking to the GF. She wants to keep her '87 gsxr-400 for a long time. But also pick up a new gsxr-600. So i figure ill look into getting a nice grey market 400cc bike like the zxr400 or cbr400rr to collector plate along side her bike. That way we can both have our sunny day bikes, and also our 'rip to kamloops' bikes Posted via RS Mobile |
I took my bike off the stands and did a few laps in the parking garage tonight... AWWWWWW...... *tears* 3 months down 2 to go! I parked her November 1st... want to bring her out April 1st... |

I'm on the exact same boat here. Don't know how much I've spent on cars already when all my heart was really looking for was my two-wheeled stallion LOL. It would have never happened if I didn't meet ft-z33wor either :alonehappy: |
320icar, if you want a project, i'm contemplating selling my '84 GSXR-400 as it's not running at the moment and i need a bike and kind of want to get something newer. |

Watching that video pisses me the hell off. I had someone do the exact same thing to me, and it wasn't even at an intersection. |
Sucks for everyone, car went cause thought it was enough room, choice was to stop and maybe get t boned, or hit the other two bikers in the other lanes. Retarded distance judgement from the car in the first place but once he went he only had 2 options. |
I'm shocked the bike didnt try evasive maneuvering. He just went dead on Posted via RS Mobile |
Wow I haven't been able to enjoy my bike and I'm starting to understand why you guys get twitchy and despise winter. I keep seeing it in my garage. :( I got to tinker around with it and changed some parts that the previous owner gave me with the bike. Got rid of the old windscreen (it's on the floor) Spoiler! He had some wires as well going from the back to the front for a radar detector. Got a chance to lift the tank and open up the bike and got a feel for it. :D |

Whats that 750? You wanna go for a ride? You wanna wake up and start roaring? Fuck Im high as a kite, the bikes talking to me, cant wait to insure. |
Holy! I thought the motorcycle wasn't going to brake in time. |

But under hard braking, the bike will just want to sit straight up. In order to do an evasive maneuver he would have had to let go of the brakes completely. It would be much difficult to do for the average street rider, especially with a passenger on the back. It just goes against all your instincts to let go of the brakes in that situation. |
thought the rider was gonna fly over his handle bars |
I would have flown over my handle bars for sure lol |
i rode today..........for 15mins :( got to cold, but its nice to hear her scream again :D |
