Ive heard very few cops care about it, i hear that theres one cop (set of cops?) in downtown Granville area who look out specifically for eliminators/modded bikes so just be mindful of that.

i got no plate light :accepted:

It rains, it stops, roads dry up a bit, then starts to rain again.

anti-vip 03-31-2014 04:48 AM

anybody used/currently using Diablo Corsa on the street? how are they? looking to get a set soon....

CharlieH 03-31-2014 07:35 AM

^

im running them right now and they're not worth the extra $ at all. i think the new michelin pilot powers offer the same grip and longer tread life for less money.

I used them when I first started tracking my bike, and they were phenomenal tires for the extent of my abilities back then. I would highly recommend them for your bike if you plan on doing any track days in the prospective future. They warm up quick, provide good feed back and are a very predictable tire as well. Gives plenty of warning when they start to slide.

Now that being said, for the road I'm not sure how much benefit you would reap off them unless you are a very aggressive rider. If you like doing long rides out in the back roads and are a bit of a nutter I'm sure you'd love them, but as CharlieH said if you're just more of a casual rider going on the occasional spirited ride, the Michelin Pilot Powers will be more than adequate (2ct or even pilot power 3). They'll probably last a little longer and provide better rain siphoning if you ever get stuck in wet weather conditions.

The Diablo Rosso II is a very good tire as well, with longer life than the Corsa. Have been very happy with them. Great warm up and feed back.

Vale46Rossi 03-31-2014 12:22 PM

Diablo Rosso II are bez bro....

Only because my bike can run those... nothing else... :(

604STIG 03-31-2014 01:29 PM

I've been running the Corsa's on the street, no complaints, they're a great tire. I thought I'd try them cause I got hooked up at the same price as the pilots were at the time. Had the Michelin Pilots before these and truth be told they were more than adequate for the street, so if only difference for you is price, go with the Pilot's.

Can anyone recommend a good wind breaker to wear under my perforated leather? Hopefully one that isn't too expensive either.

I wear one of these under my riding jacket and it breaks the wind and keeps my torso warm for anything up to almost zero degrees. I don't know what they cost we get one every year at my work so I have a few of them but there really light and they rock in wind and rain.

The Metzler M5's will be closely similar to the Rosso Corsa, they share the same tire technology as Pirelli own's Metzler/is the parent company of Metzler.
