Hey Sena SMH10 users, did you know with firmware 5.0 you can now connect to non-Sena Bluetooth headsets? Now you can connect with others such as Scala users too! On top of that, you may have buddies following you in a car, they can connect with you also with pretty much any Bluetooth headset (bt. 3.0+).

Picked up extra mount set for my new lid. Available now at Modern Motorcycles via Revscene.net membership.

Update 5 is sweet, just tried it out well worth the trouble

If you have problems after the update just do a factory reset

I was surfing the Revzellia and STG sites and came across 'Motorcycle Socks'.

Does anyone on here have them?

What is better about them?

Just wondering, I do not think specialty socks are strange as I skied for years and have owned expensive specialty socks before .

Sunfighter 03-02-2014 06:57 PM

Gwilo - I actually use my ski socks for riding... :)

I'm curious as well about motorbike specific socks.

Gh0stRider 03-02-2014 07:02 PM

i use nike ankle socks :haha:

Raid3n 03-02-2014 07:51 PM

i would think similar properties to skiing socks.. water wicking(sp?), antibacterial

that kind of thing

Sunfighter 03-02-2014 08:05 PM

Also - realized I got fat(ter) this offseason... pretty angry at myself.... lol. Lots of excuses but I need to lose 15 lbs for a) Sun Run/BMO/Seawheeze and b) to fit into my bike gear again!!!

Rode to work today :okay:

Looked at the 24 hour rain outlook yesterday night, said 1mm

Now we are getting 20-30mm suddenly with wet snow

quick question for you guys, where do you guys usually go for oil changes? What's the approximate price range at the particular place that you go to?

Thanks all! =)

90-120 at a shop, but oil changes are better done yourself.

60 bucks all in, and still have left over oil for next one. Only takes an hour max, and you can freely drain as much oil as you want whereas a shop will just drain it til its good enough leaving behind some old oil (Granted its probably not that much of a difference.)

Doesnt make much sense to me; waiting at a shop for 20-45 minutes, or do it myself in 30-60 min.
