It has to do with work schedules and distances to work/home.

Also I got a ticket today for having my front tire over a no parking sign :lol

Gwilo 07-04-2014 06:52 PM

Was that ticket in Coquitlam today ?

radioman 07-04-2014 07:05 PM

No downtown. I was talking to the guy as he was writing the ticket and he was being a total d bag.

Hey guys, any idea how flush front turn signals go with class 6 road tests? (Would they not allow the bike on the test?)

From experience if it's not stock then it depends on the examiner. I bought my 03 R6 with front flush turn signals (definately not stock) and got questioned when I did my road test. Told her I bought it with the flush signals and she allowed me to do my road test. #OverthinkingGoodTimesDemNerves. Good luck with your road test.

What about flush/LED rears?

Sunfighter 07-06-2014 08:58 AM

I did my road test with my CBR600RR. The previous owner had installed flush mounts. The examiner was concerned but I just explained that I bought the bike like that. He said he couldn't figure out why "they" (implying the bike manufacturers) kept doing that (installing flat/flush turn signals). I didn't really correct him but agreed that it seemed silly. Then we proceeded with the road test.

saiko 07-06-2014 02:47 PM

Darn.. I've had the bike for a bit over a year now. Will look for some aftermarket signals and try and mount them before my test. Thanks guys!

That's the one thing I liked about my 84 gsx-r400. Integrated signals all around, factory :D

Best place to get a new battery?

Sunfighter 07-09-2014 08:40 PM

Good experience with Edmond's Battery.

fliptuner 07-09-2014 08:51 PM

Ended up going top Polar on Boundary. $62 for a Yuasa for buddy's Shadow 750 :notbad:

Sunfighter 07-09-2014 09:58 PM

Nice...!

I recently picked up a Shorai (thanks for the coupon, Gwilo) from Edmond's Battery. The previous battery was proving hugely problematic. The new battery is a dream and I CANNOT believe how light it is!!!! Yes, that many exclamation marks are necessary. ;)

Which local store has the largest collection of helmets you can try on?

is it Daytona in Surrey? Anywhere else in Van/Bby/Richmond?
