LOL, drove by Rogers at Brentwood for the hell of it. Saw 3 in line so I figured I'd head into the mall. Got there and they're already open and there's 10 in front of me. Guy's taking orders and they have the phones I want. Guy 3 ahead wanted white and they ran out. He declined taking black instead which opened up spots for me to get the last black ones.

200 people lineups? Fuck that. For 10 I can wait.

No you do not have to be the actual account holder. I was at the store yesterday and my phone was on hand at the store. As long as you reserved it under YOUR name, it can be received. All according to the girl at the counter..

Ridiculous. Apple helping people activiate/renew contracts in store.. It takes forever for the line to move and i think they have plenty of stock left.

why are all these people lining up at the store? They're only doing contract renewals and new activations right? No unlocked phones.

Also there were no lineups in Hong Kong because apple is doing a lottery system where if you get picked, they give you a time slot to go pick it up. Latest Sin Tat price is $8800

No line up at the tbooth when I was there. Lots of people lining up at the apple store.
