I am the opposite. 5 mins into using the phone i realized why i jailbroke my iphone 4 years ago before selling it. Tried to download an app (skype?) from the apple store and it wont let me... 50mb restriction, had to use wifi. Wtf? i have 6gb plan bitch. hate these stupid rules. its got nothing to do with free cracked apps, i just hate Apple's "my way or the highway".

try updating to the ipad baseband and then downgrading using redsn0w, then use ultrasn0w. just did it for a frnd's 3GS, worked like a charm.

I'm also not getting LTE. Fido wtf

yeah i booked my genius appointment for sunday since i work today....with the nick/scratch on top i could just get a case but i also spent 900 bones on this phone so i assume it would be perfect out of the box...question is if i go to the apple store to replace what are the chances they have them in stock? plus what if i open another one and its even in shittier condition? can i just keep on switching it till i get a perfect one?

Think you'd be better off switching to white iPhone since it seems like the coating is really weak on the antenna.. Only released a day and many people complaining about it already..

to all the PM me for sim activation they are all done. those that have issues ie had to do a plan change coz compatibility issue i PMed each one. turn on/off your phone thx. those on fido not getting LTE. try reset your phone and make sure you were activated thru itune and not wifi.

Exacty how I feel. Once you jailbreak, it's hard going back to stock.
With a 6gb data plan, on a stock OS, I hate how you view YouTube videos in crap quality on 3G opposed to wifi.. Had to use to unrestrictor to get around that

Any of you going to Rogers today? Can you please let me know if they have any stock on the blk 16gb. My status with Rogers reservations has been in progress for the past 3 days. Had it shipped to oakridge but haven't received a call from them. Thanks

I never got a call from Fido. My time was wasted when they had the phone on hand and said they would call me first before I can pick it up.

I lined up another time, person at the counter asked if I got a call or email. I just said yes. Phone get.

The scratch issue is a grey area if you take the phone to genius. Someone I know had it switched three times LOL
