Finally got it. Was #2 at the fido store, but all that meant was i had to wait 2 hours. At lesat i didn't have to line up... did some shopping, sat around, and basically chilled until the girl called me.

As i was driving home i even stopped to let a van merge in front of me after he/she got scared by another van who wouldn't let them through (had to swerve back out). Not just because i was in a good mood, but figured i could use the good karma :fullofwin:

I used my lunch time from work to line up at the Fido store, ended up telling me to wait for a phone call to pick it up as the servers are "jammed" to activate the phone...

The phone is physically on their hands too with my name on it.. Now I have to wait..

There isn't much a a line up at Oakridge Apple store.
I would say it's about 40 people.

No line up to see the phone as well. The white iPhone 5 literally had no one playing with it.

unno what you guys were tripping on when u guys said the phone had to be activated b4 it left the store. My brother picked up mine/his iPhone 5 and he didn't have to activate mine on the spot. Im still using my berry, and ill be grabbing my unlocked/sealed iPhone 5 off him later today. Let the bidding begin :fuckyea:

I just use the the recipt from the shipping box. They didn't take any info down, doesn't look like they have time for that. I don't think anyone would take the time to resell a $10 sim

They don't need to activate it in stores. They will scan the serial number of the phone and lock it to which ever carrier your brother said it was for. Your phone won't be unlocked

i think a lotta folks don't realize the phones are locked via Apple's servers "black and white" lists.

they don't need to touch your phone. as soon as you plug it into iTunes, that's it.

rogers/fido upgraded all data plans to LTE speeds, so ull need a LTE specific sim to get the speeds, so no dont cut ur sim
