I bet it's Kent's Kitchen judging from past convos.

Badhobz 10-23-2025 01:01 PM

Yeah it's a K4, but it's borked. The battery doesn't hold charge anymore and needs to stay plugged in. I'm also not a fan of red keys, but not very many companies make a wireless 96%

unit 10-23-2025 01:06 PM

i bought a wireless keychron but i leave it plugged in all the time

bcrdukes 10-23-2025 01:38 PM

I have a Nuphy wireless keyboard but also have it plugged in all the time. :D

unit 10-23-2025 01:44 PM

yeah at work i have a logitech one that runs on two AAAs and i swear i havent changed the batteries in a good year or longer. i find my apple keyboard and the keychron only lasts like weeks before the battery starts running low... what's the point of that..

EvoFire 10-23-2025 02:14 PM

Come on, it's a car forum. We have a lego thread, which branched off into mechwarriors, and there are a fair few of us into Gundams as well and also computers and headphones and audiophiles.

mikemhg 10-23-2025 04:05 PM

^Car forum yes, but definitely nerdy.

Somehow I don't think a Dodge enthusiast car forum would have posts about damn Gundams, Legos, and HK cafes.

Badhobz 10-23-2025 04:11 PM

dodge enthusiast forum would only have topics like: how not to get served, prenups are they worth it? and a cure for roid rage.

Kent's Kitchen baked porkchop rice comes in a round container

https://scontent.fyvr4-1.fna.fbcdn.n...-g&oe=6900D104

The porkchop itself is hit or miss -- sometimes it's good meat; other times it's a lot of fatty bits. But for $10, I am not going to complain.

yray 10-24-2025 08:41 AM

man, eating baked pork rice on tinfoil containers suck

JDMDreams 10-24-2025 10:26 AM

??? How else do you bake it, it comes in metal tray by default

mikemhg 10-24-2025 01:48 PM

I assume he means cutting that porkchop without everything sliding around outta the container.

My 3 years mortgage is coming up in about 6 months. I have been fixed @ 4.70% for 3 years. My mortgage guy been emailing me about renewal last little awhile, but I haven't had time to entertain him as I've been dealing with family things. I'm assuming they do this so that they hope the customer stays with the current mortgage lender and not shop elsewhere?

With interest rates dropping, would it be ideal to go variable rate for the next 3 years? Say I early renew, I would be saving some $$$ each month in this case. What do you guys have done that do have mortgages?

bcrdukes 10-28-2025 09:41 AM

I went to the black market for a sub-prime mortgage.

If you can lock in a new rate that is more favourable to you, then yes, you would be paying less. How much depends on the difference between you current and new rate.

unit 10-28-2025 09:57 AM

my commercial mortgage is coming up next week and i think the rate is going to drop one more time.. im gonna lock in this time for 2-3 years... got screwed that year when rates went through the roof.

i think with the next rate cut there should be a big time slowing of rate cuts for a while... pretty much all the aggressive cutting is over with now. im surprised they are even gonna cut it again (we'll see but thats what the word on the street is)

Crusty the Clark and Moondunce actively marketed in China during their tenures. I remember Moondunce's face on billboards in places like Shanghai and Beijing.

Tons of builds purposely for investors for well over a decade (rather than making them livable units for young families).

Cheap credit, cheap rates, inflated assets.

Market correction...

Govt + Developers = What happun? :derp:

Can't lower prices of new units because they cost too much to build.

Cancelled projects + Developers going into receivership.

It's funny how much new builds are still going up during this 'empty era' because they were presumably in the permit stage 6-7 years ago when the boom was still happening. Where will the market be by the time these towers are up and running?

I mean prospective first time home buyers generally can deal with the mortgage payments themselves. It's the downpayment that's always unobtainable.

What a mess...

JDMDreams 10-28-2025 10:36 AM

Not really, they just shot themselves in the foot by banning foreign buyers even though it wasn't much + letting in the poor.

I would do variable, I don't see this easing cycle being done anytime soon, I'm damn sure unemployment is still going up, will go up in the US, Amazon cutting 30000 management, not delivery drivers, the middle upper class will take a big hit.

There's still no visible upside for Canada yet. Trade war has 3 more years to go since Americans can't aim
