Just curious...did you guys have to call to complain before you got your shipping confirmation? Because other than my order confirmation, I haven't received any correspondence from Google.
My order time was 8:34:42am PST

on mobilesyrup, most ppl haven't gotten any correspondence other than their order confirmation; some have gotten the backorder email; and even less have gotten shipping confirmations; and of those who've gotten confirmations some of them have also received the backorder email too

My order time was 8:33:55 and its fucking BS how mine hasn't shipped yet while the guy a page back did.

So in the end, no way of "enabling" LTE without modding the phone. Which is a bitch to unsolder and resolder BGA chips. On a board that small, the heat applied to unsolder it will probably unsolder everything around it too. So good fucking game.

Well it's the same design for the Optimus G. It probably came off the same assembly line so it was probably easier to just leave it in or something. Nontheless it's still missing the modem part so it would never function.

Just got my Nexus 4 today. Nice solid phone. Definitely feels nicer than the previous gen Nexus. Gonna give it a good run through the paces to see how the battery life is tomorrow once it's charged up. Don't really like the 4.2 GUI changes (the whole bold the first letter/number thing) but those are just cosmetic. I skimmed through a few articles saying 4.2 is buggy as hell so I'll have to read through those articles to see if has anything to do with the Nexus 4.

Currently the most hated person in this thread.

I ended up picking up a Lumia 920 today for my pops; kind of choked but i think he'll enjoy it more anyhow since the buttons and words are nice and big on WP

lol :p well it wasn't for myself (although that hasnt stopped me in the past)

the next time i upgrade my own phone though it more than likely wont be a nokia; since Symbian/Maemo is gone and Nokias are no longer Made in Finland (they closed/sold the factory)

i just hope Google doesnt change their mind and jack up the prices on the 2nd batch.........rumors are that they will in the future though

Mine finally shipped.
I called them yesterday, and it ships out today...coincidence? maybe....

If you guys haven't received any correspondence, you guys should just give them a call. I'm pretty sure nothing would've happened with my order until I called.

Mine's somewhere near Seattle at the moment.
