Yup. using a US VPN to access the US Play store.

I had it added to my cart 2x and both times it crapped out. Rumour is that more CDN stock before end of year.

I've been refreshing every so often since 12pm and it has never shown that it's in stock on the CDN site. However in the US side I was able to get the add to cart a few times. That might be a general message from the play store.

I think thats the general message that will appear on the US/CDN site

I had the same thing too. It was doing weird stuff like still showing in my cart, then next time I hit proceed (to pay) it disappeared.

Fortunately I was able to snag 2x 16gb ones. One for my buddy and one for me. Going to see if anyone wants my 8GB before it goes on CL.

They are limiting the number of devices to a maximum of 2 from what I read. Not sure how long they'll be doing it for.

EDIT: You can (on the US site) still add one to cart if you want to buy one and don't mind waiting. It's currently showing 7-8 week ship date. I guess it's to satisfy those that complained that Google's checkout system didn't offer them the opportunity to just put in an order and wait.

EDIT 2: I've had a couple of people ask already - I'm not selling my Nexus 4 yet as I'm using it right now. I won't be selling it until I at least get the 16GB to replace it.

Would there be any benefit of creating a google wallet account beforehand? Would this expedite the transaction, therefore having a better chance of purchasing the phone?

No, not in my experience. The most challenging part is firstly getting it in your cart, and then getting past the first Proceed button after it's in your cart. That's where everyone is getting the errors. At that point, no billing information is entered.

It certainly does streamline the process though if you do have it in as you can just hit proceed and go all the way through without entering anything.

To make it even quicker. Restart computer before hand and only open the Google Play page.

When is there more projected stock?
