What happened with the old holder that caused the recall? I have the old style too...

there was a couple of cases where the tassimo leaked water while making the drink and therefore hot water would come out/trickle. they just added an adapter which is like a helmet to prevent anyone getting a money shot of hot coffee.

i popped in a milk disk last week and i dont know if i put it in off centre or what and it was leaking. i'd say the new add-on did it's job though that was the first time my machine did that.

I notice when I lock in my milk discs, a little bit of milk pre-cum drips out of the spout; do you mean that or did it come out the sides?

sides. i had to give my machine a good wipe down with paper towels after and empty out my resevoir. that was my last sweet vanilla latte disc too :okay:

I cant use it much because I'm barely home, but we got one at work. Even though it's an older cheaper tassimo, its easy and convenient to use.

I'm starting to enjoy caramel machiato Lol. Chai tea is dope, too.

Tassimo > Keurig... bought them both, ended up returning the Keurig. Love the tassimo.

Not sure if it has been discussed already, but if you dl the (Android) app MobileBandit, there's a "Show and Go" deal at a few Burnaby/Coquitlam/Poco Tim Hortons that give out free T-Disks (either 3 coffee, or 3 latte iirc).

Note that they're one-time redeem deals. Haven't checked if they're still available, but if you're in the area...

I have a T55. Love my machine.
Favourite drinks are the Chai Tea Latte and Gevalia Mocha (Had to get this in the states)

I have a Tassimo. It's lovely. Timmies sells T-Discs.

Don't buy the Cadbury hot chocolate. It's awful. There's another brand (can't remember the name) but it's far superior.

Suchard's is the name and yes, it's much better.

I buy most of my T-discs online now from Tassimo, coffee, espresso | ECS Coffee Inc.

My current favourites are the Carte Noir Cream Intenso and the King of Joe dark roast. The Second Cup paradiso dark roast t-discs are great too.
