After you make the Tassimo hot chocolate, use a knife to open up the chocolate syrup t-disk and pour the rest of in in your drink. =3

If you read back a few pages, I posted that Costco sells the T65 BUNDLE for $129.99, at least when I bought few weeks ago it was...

Comes with T65, 2 water filters and 85 TDiscs (maxwellhouse and nabob)

People said that you can buy the T65 at superstore for $85 but not sure.. I haven seen it nor if theres any left.
Walmart online sells it for $89, i believe

TheKingdom2000 12-08-2012 09:24 AM

Staples is having a one day sale RIGHT NOW. Today only (Dec 8, 2012)
Tassimo T20 for $59 (free shipping or store pick up)

Black
STAPLES | BUREAU EN GROS

White
STAPLES | BUREAU EN GROS

This is the one I got for my parents.

Then went to Well.ca and picked up T-discs as they have a $10off $40 purchase for new customers.
I'm sure getting the T-discs on sale would be cheaper than this promo, but it was pretty convenient to just buy off well as i've used them before.

But, if there are any sales right now on tdiscs I would like to know.

For anyone who hasn't got a Keurig or Tassimo (like me) yet, but still want cheap instant coffee:

Starbucks (today only) has a buy one get one free on their VIA instant coffee Christmas blend. It's black coffee, makes about a tall size, and tastes damn good. It works out to about fifty cents a cup now that it's on sale, which makes it a great deal. I picked up 4 packs.

Synarchist 12-15-2012 04:42 AM

the problem with instant powder coffee is that during the freeze dry process, most of the good stuff in coffee is eliminated like the healthy oils and polyphenols that can be present only in fresh brewed coffee

which is why most places brew fresh coffee from fresh grinds or throw out any coffee pots older than 20 minutes as the good stuff in coffee usually degrades within that timeframe

in fact most regular coffee drinkers can taste this difference in quality (rule of thumb is when hot coffee turns cold, throw it away and make another cup)

what about iced coffees?

Graeme S 12-15-2012 07:40 AM

My mentality on the health benefits of coffee is the same as the health benefits of red wine: it gives people who already consume it an excuse to keep doing so :lawl:

And though I agree with your points, Synarchist, I drink coffee for the caffeine. Anyone who is truly interested in the health benefits should probably be drinking bodums anyhow, since it's the cleanest/best way to drink it.

saucywoman 12-15-2012 02:03 PM

I have the keurig b140 for $80 if anyone's interested

Are any of these machines suitable for someone that's quite picky about its drip coffee and Espresso?

Drip - I've only like Starbucks drip
Espresso - Caffe Artigiano, Parallel 49th, Continental, Cafe Umbria

Shall I just stick with traditional methods?
