I really hope they don't stick with plastic.

PJ 03-12-2013 02:33 PM

Or at least use a higher quality plastic... The glossy plastic on the s3 looks/feels super cheap.

MarkyMark 03-12-2013 03:47 PM

I bet that video is legit, I can't see it being something completely different than that.

Eh looks just like an s3 with a bigger screen size... Not sure if I want

dub.g 03-12-2013 05:05 PM

if apple is doing the way of releasing a new iphone and a minor update the next year

then

well samsung needs to slow down the upgrade and difference between their current device to the next.. the galaxy brand wasnt properly establish until the s3 came out and continue to sell so might as well milk it

!MiKrofT 03-12-2013 08:52 PM

They're also thinking about releasing a revised s3 with ore battery wireless charging and something else.

Can't stand plastic phones. I mean, if you're going to use plastic at least make it look like you're trying to make the plastic look less like plastic a la Nokia and HTC with their polycarbonate. I don't want glossy plastic on my phones, makes it feel so cheap.

I'd rather have a heavier phone with weight with glass/metal than a plastic phone.

i like galaxy nexus's gunmetal plastic rear...it doesn't feel as nice as a iphone but the texture allows you to grip it well.

Not to mention plastic doesnt shatter if you drop it

Some site in the UK leaked some pictures of the "Galaxy S4 Cases", looks like it matches the video pretty well.

Iceman_2K 03-13-2013 07:22 PM

the HTC One looks a hella lot better than the S4...

MarkyMark 03-13-2013 07:35 PM

If the HTC One came with vanilla android it would be pretty much the perfect phone.

I actually don't hate the look of the S4, now that the bezel is slimmer on the sides it doesn't look as shitty in the front.

Why would HTC run Vanilla android? HTC's sense is their own trademark.

Not like you couldn't just flash an AOSP rom later on.
I dunno about you guys but unibody phones don't really appeal to me. Unfortunately it seems like almost every manufacturer is going this route..:(

DC5-S 03-13-2013 10:32 PM

I think thats a pretty good deal actually even with a 3 year plan. The phone prob costs like 8 bills itself if you buy it separately.
