Can anyone teach a TV noob how to PVR hockey games?

Just got a new TV and Optik set up about a month ago and never used PVR before.

^I don't really have the space on my landlord's optik (all devices share space). I'd like to set reminders to watch stuff like I could with Shaw but I can't figure out how.

I think if you hit guide, scroll forward through the channel to the time of the game, click OK on the program, options are there to record and such. I've never used the record button on the remote itself.

Maybe that play would have impressed me if I haven't seen the same thing pretty much game in game out for the past 10 years

lol, yeah, the last 5 years of hockey in Vancouver have been an absolute dismal failure. Let's take an above average playoff team, blow it up and rebuild from the ground up, and hope for the best. It's not like the Oilers have taken 5+ years for their rebuild with no end in sight or anything like that

I realize we are still in the honeymoon stage with Torts, but I'm really liking the tone he's set for this team. Hearing him defend the Sedins gave me a weird boner.

Nothing against AV, I always liked his easy-going manner, but he probably would have just laughed that comment off with a "Anyone who thinks they're soft is crazy, ha ha... next?"

this is why we needed a new voice in the room. many of the little things torts has done so far were completely absent during av's era. i don't think anyone can argue it's been anything but a positive change to this team.
