Yup. He's only a couple of games in. He'll get back into the groove soon enough.

Did you have to pay extra for the COA? I didn't get one with my signing, not that it really matters since i'd never sell the jersey

I wonder how it would look like from a goalie pov seeing Bure rushing in on you.. damn.. guy flies down the ice at top speed..

Picture the complete opposite of Kesler on a shootout attempt ...

Bieksa, Higgins, Tanev, and a couple other Canucks were at the Lion's game on Friday night. Standing right on the sidelines in their pimp ass threads.

I'd dress sweet too, if I was making $4 million per season.

:woot2:

They played great on Saturday though. Must have been inspired by Lulay's gingerness.

highfive 11-04-2013 10:02 AM

I noticed one thing this season is that whenever the players score a goal or makes a good play, I see the coaches giving them a lot of pat on the backs. I don't remember seeing AV doing the same thing.

AV would just smirk and chew harder.

Mike Oxbig 11-04-2013 12:25 PM

Luongo can probably finish behind brodeur 2nd all time in wins when its all said and done

The day I saw Torts use a "timeout" before waiting until Canucks got scored on, was the day I knew we upgraded our coach in the off season.

its conditioning
this is good for him

Im glad that is happening rather than slotting him back into the line up

Not really racist! 11-04-2013 12:58 PM

Wishful thinking... its for like 2 weeks max.. hopefully he doesn't come back and play like a scrub again

Still some hope there that we can make a bit of an impact when he returns... low expectations tho hah

bobbinka 11-04-2013 12:59 PM

if this doesnt get him going, i think he's either traded at deadline or bought out at end of season

Mike Oxbig 11-04-2013 01:04 PM

If only he can go through waivers and some other team picks him up :joy:

Hondaracer 11-04-2013 01:05 PM

Who would trade for him?

Mike Oxbig 11-04-2013 01:06 PM

Nobody... our team looks pretty solid right now. I would wait until the deadline to see who we can pick up with that 4.2 mill free space.

NHL Starting Goalies and Line Combinations | DailyFaceoff.com

If i had to choose one person, probably ryan carter or steve benier :troll: lol

Totally forgot he has another season on the books after this one

I think if we don't recall him after the 2 weeks he'll be on waivers... but eh
Dalpe is back from his reconditioning stint

NHL

Lecavlier might be available with Philly's crash. Our 2nd line is currently void of a true #2 centre. His contract is a bit long though...
