edmonton either had to trade a dman due to an internal cap set by the owner, cash needed to be gone for bryzgalov, or the rumors of a trade with philly with either coburn/mezaros coming back is true.

number 1 dman is worth more than either of those players. rumoured deal is something around eberle + hemsky for simmonds, mezaros/coburn. obviously there will probably be more added to each side to even it out

Expected? totally agree, but we're talking Bryzgalov here... just as bad..

if rumors are true that bryz signed for 3 mil, another trade must be in the works. oilers could have signed bryz without moving smid. they STILL have another 4 mill.
