Picked up my OPT today, got the black apricot back and the screen protector with it too. gonna use it for a few weeks before i give a personal opinion on it compared to the s6. Also got a few orzly cases and glass screen protector from orzly. Amazon.ca had them for soo cheap compared to what i paid for them when i had the OPO but it will take time for those to come in.

Had mine shipped to point roberts, had to pay $50 on tax. Totalling $630 CAD for everything including shipping cost.

Now i gotta see if its worth the new price tag(stupid exhange rate)

Don't think is worth it. $800 gets you a S6 with better software support and better warrnatly. At least you don't have to wait weeks or months to RMA a phone. You could just straight refund.

^i paid 980 for the 64gb with factory warrant on defects only. On top of that, its still carrier locked. Comparing personal usability, i miss my OPO. It was way more suited for my needs.

Plus this s6 that i have is buggy as hell, i restart my phone every few days because of freezes. The lag on this is insane, the battery life is really bad. My gf's isnt as bad as mine, so i feel like its my particular phone. Ive taken it to samsung, did a clean flash of the rom and even had it taken to rma, but they couldnt find anything wrong and did not honor a swap.


Honestly, the only thing that i feel the s6 has going for it is the awesome back camera in natural light. Front camera is OK. And the back camera in artificial light has bad colour accuracy compared to an iphone 6plus.

For those that have taken delivery, did any of you have to pay duties at the door?

I had a problem with my order and had to submit a ticket, but $613 with a case and screen protector + whatever duties you may have to pay doesn't seem like much of a deal anymore.

^its the stupid brokerage feea that we charge, oneplus has been trying to get them waived ever since the OPO came out

FYI, orzly had a massive sale for the OPT cases and screen protectors on amazon.ca, managed to get 3 cases and 2 glass screen protectors for 45 shipped!

I would think at this point I would wait the new Nexus line up. OPT might not be such a flagship killer after Nexus phone comes out.
