Higgins + Kass for Bozak pl0x |
bozak and kessel are joined at the hip. I like kassian better than bozak |
Leafs is using whoever is coaching them right now as a scape goat to tank. That's why who ever is still showing up every night the leafs will evaluate them to stay. |
Kass gets benched again. That leash is shorter than my dick |
As good as Kass's potential may seem or how well he's been playing of late, they should just trade him. Doesn't even seem like he wants to be here anymore. Especially benching him over and over again |
pretty sure they're actively looking to trade him. don't think they're hearing any good offers so at this point it makes more sense to keep him |
Benched again. Healthy scratch due to poor performance I'm guessing? Who takes his place? I'm thinking he needs more ice time to get better. I'm not really a fan but do believe it takes years to hone in on his potential. Watch, we'll trade him for someone. That someone will shit the bed with us and Kass will reign supreme with whatever organization he signs with. Ha! |
McMillan is in for Kass |
The Canucks picked up Brandon McMillan and he has yet to play. WD is big on him as WD had a chance to coach him in 2010. First line twins and Burrows. None of them will be benched. Second line Vrbata/Vey/Higgins. You need Higgies on the PK. Vey is a center. Vrbata is your top goal scorer so none of them will sit. Third line Mattais/Dorsett/Kassian. Mattais is a center. Dorsett is hitting everything that moves and gets some scoring chances while being good defensively. Kassian is Kassian. Fourth line Horvat/Hansen/Kenin Horvat is playing very well and has the best faceoff % on the team. Hansen plays on the PK and shows a lot of upside on the 4th line with Horvat and is not a defensive liability. Kenin played a very strong game against the Wild and against the big bad Bruins. He's been scoring and isn't making too many mistakes while playing much bigger than his true body size. That leaves Kassian as the odd man out for the time being. Might not have anything to do with his lackluster play but more with it is time to sit someone and let the new guy play. It was the same thing for Weber who scored a PP goal and then had to sit the next game as the Canucks had to make room for Clendening. |
I'm digging Kenins. Hope he makes the line permanently and I'll re stitch my Kesler or Schneider jersey to him. |
It will get very interesting once Bonino and Richardson come back from the IR. Obviously Bonino will go back to centering the second line which leaves Vey without a spot. And someone else will lose their spot for Richardson which I think is why they had all that talk yesterday about Mattias being available for trade as he is a natural center who can play on the wing and is a big body and is showing signs that he can play the power forward position better than Kassian. Plus both Mattias and Richardson as well as Dorsett are UFA's at the end of the season. Unless Gaunce is ready to make the jump to a 4th line center next year and bump Horvat to the third line, then the Canucks will have no choice but to re-sign Richardson and/or Mattias. I can see Dorsett being re-signed as his contract will not be that high and he plays many vital roles that WD loves. With that being said, then that leaves next to no openings for the younger players which means the team may not get younger next year. |

Mahfuggin RK41 What a dish and what a finish by Bo |
I'm a BO-Liever in this kid! |
BOHO! |
|
RK41 is doing real damn well. 9 games and 6 points, 3 of which are goals. He's a wrecking ball out there on a consistent basis too. No wonder why Kassian gets benched/scratched so often. |

But alas, it might be too late since his name isn't Higgins or Kenis and he never played for the Medicine Hat Tigers. :suspicious: |
