Supposedly Dano, 1st and conditional pick for Ladd according to Andy Strickland on Twitter

Pretty much. It would've been at least a 1st for Hamhuis but that's gone. I don't see a trade to Chi happening unless it's Hamhuis for 2nd (belong to Flyers) + Pokka + prospect

Tim Budong 02-25-2016 03:58 PM

read somewhere canucks need to take on bickell for a hammer trade to go through

A good return for Hamhuis is 1st + 2nd (Philly's) + roster/prospect. But since we're talking about JB, it could be 1st + Svedberg or 1st + Bickell

also hearing that Hawks may be willing to part with their grade A prospects/high picks if Canucks take on Bickell

i hope we see something like

Higgins for bickell + a pick (3rd or 4th)
chicago get a lower cap hit, and a very good penalty killer in higgins

Hamhuis for pokka + 1st
canucks get a young d prospect

Hamhuis for Pokka and a 1st round pick.

Vrbata for Bickell and a 3rd round pick.

its my opinion. i just don't see how vrbata can help the hawks. he was invisible in the playoffs last year. With higgins at least he can help out their penalty kill and play good defensively.

It also gives the hawks some cap space as well higgins 2.5m vs bickell 4m.

If Canucks have to retain and take on bickell they will be getting more than pokka 1st for vrbata and hamhuis. Another prospect like schmaltz etc

TjAlmeida 02-25-2016 04:17 PM

I'd still be happy with a real promising prospect + 2nd for hammer. No clendenings or veys though.

Ch28 02-25-2016 04:21 PM

Well, so much for that :lol

Mike Oxbig 02-25-2016 04:21 PM

Aquaman wont allow hamhuis to go Dallas because he doesnt want the Stars to win a cup before the Canucks. Owner beef

AQ & Gaglardi are already working together on some ski resort in squamish

dbaz 02-25-2016 04:31 PM

couple of reports saying ladd was #1, hamhuis is #2 on the plans for chi. apparently they are now re-focusing on acquiring hamhuis. scuderi would provide enough cap space if hamhuis is retained. some expect hamhuis to be a healthy scratch tonight

If you were expecting a similar return that Ladd got for Hammer, then yes.
